A light and refined coffee table that finds its expressive power in the masterful use of lacquer, Louver features legs in solid Liquorice-coloured ash supporting a flared top that appears to rest delicately on top, as if it were a tray. Designed in three different heights with three different diameters for the top, it is also available in an oval version.  Like the other furnishing pieces in the 2022 Collection, Louver is clearly inspired by the 1970s, a reference underlined by the lacquering of its top in Cappuccino, Chestnut, Malachite, Moka and Army Green, mixed with the more rational taste expressed by its clean, minimal forms.  The nuances of the top reinterpret the Seventies vibe with a surface effect that moves the lacquer, making it not only shiny but also strongly textured. The combination of rational shapes and the discreet decoration of the top make it an unexpected coffee table, rendered elegant also thanks to its polished wood legs. Il tratto distintivo che dona raffinatezza a questa madia elegante è il raffinato dettaglio in contrasto del profilo interno del top. The Mars Table is a meditation on perception — a reflection on how light, matter, and the human eye conspire to create the experience of reality. At first glance, its materials seem unrecognizable, as if gathered from another planet and assembled in zero gravity. Yet they belong entirely to Earth: two Burled Poplar planks, mirrored along their natural live edges, joined within a crystal-clear body that suspends them like fragments of floating terrain. Supported by three irregular transparent pillars that pierce and sustain the surface in apparent defiance of gravity, the composition evokes a vision of geological balance — matter held still at the edge of transformation. The Burled Poplar, whose grain grows in spontaneous deformation, reveals a pattern of swirling knots and eyes, unpredictable and alive. Through a special red-tinted oil finishing, its natural holographic depth is greatly amplified, turning the surface into a field of shimmering reflections. Under changing light, the wood vibrates between shadow and fire, appearing almost extraterrestrial — a material both familiar and unknown. Mars Table is not a table from another world, but a vision of this one — a reminder that the extraordinary already exists in the depths of the ordinary. It is an invitation to rediscover the terrestrial Eden we still inhabit, and to perceive the unseen poetry within the material world.
