The furnitures longevity is greatly extended by the hot dip galvanisation process where the steel frames are dipped in molten zinc forming a resilient coating over the entire steel surface protecting against corrosion and offering a maintenance-free finish. Atlas is a product family with an obvious robustness and at the same time a graceful expression with the "dancing" arch that ends the legs. Atlas was conceived as a custom-made table for Restaurang Portal Bar in Stockholm by Claesson Koivisto Rune Arkitekter in 2018. The name comes from the Atlas district in Stockholm, where the entrance and portico to the restaurant is located. Atlas fits in well both in the home and in public spaces. The product family is made of materials to function both indoors and outdoors. The metal stand is made of galvanized steel and the seat is made of solid, oiled oak.
