By comparison, the separate seat cushions and high back of this youngster designed by Jehs + Laub are so softly upholstered that they allow you to think, talk, eat, play or work endlessly ‘around the corner’. And it does not necessarily have to be in the kitchen either. The elegant metal frame cuts a good figure in any room.

The version with a storage compartment features side shells made of moulded rigid polyurethane, a lid in birch plywood, and metal components in nickel-plated steel and zamak, while the base is constructed from poplar plywood with a scratch-resistant black lacquered MDF bottom. The seat is luxuriously padded with polyurethane foam and polyester wadding, with additional foam padding for the structure and lid in the storage model. Upholstery options include Pelle Frau® leather or fabric, complemented by an ornamental leather band that matches the pouf's color in the leather version. The design showcases classic stitching and soft folds, with the leather version featuring four folds radiating from the central button, inspired by the female form and accentuated by a slender "waist" belt.
