Hangman

cappellini > Styling

Koeda

cappellini > Styling
The Koeda clothing hanger was designed by Nendo. The structure is made of metal rods and square bars, which form a box shape out of open space; the geometric rigour is interrupted by a single inner branch on which garments can be hung.
Mirror

cappellini > Styling
Mirror is free-standing and two-sided, with an adjustable tilt. Designed by Jasper Morrison, the base and frame are made of satined nickel.
POH (Patchwork Oval Hemisphere)

cappellini > Styling
The Poh bench, designed by Raphael Navot, can also be used as a low table and consists of a patchwork of wooden pieces covered with solid natural American walnut. Every Poh bench is a unique object, sold as a numbered edition: in fact, the blocks of wood are manually assembled in a casual manner and then cut by a machine numerically, according to a model that is generated digitally by a computer. A table, a bench and a veritable sculpture: this piece has intentionally been left without a precise definition, in order to upend the premise, “form follows function” to “function follows form”.
Steel Pipe Drink Trolley

cappellini > Styling
Originally designed in 1968, the Steel Pipe Drink Trolley, by Shiro Kuramata, is still strikingly contemporary, a reflection of the research in which form and function are immediately evident, but contradistinguished by the refined aesthetics of the celebrated designer who, here, makes a clear reference to the curves of the Sofa With Arms.
Tuta

cappellini > Styling
Tuta is a free-standing clothes hanger designed by Nendo. The structure is made of laser-cut metal, matte varnished in white, mud or black.
Waku

cappellini > Styling
In the Waku mirror by Nendo, the mirrored surface has been mounted within the frame itself: a perfect detail that reflects an interesting challenge. Almost an exercise in style, this detail enhances the graphic rigour of the design and puts Cappellini’s production capabilities to the test.
Cross

cappellini > Styling
Designed to store medicine, the Cross cabinet by Thomas Eriksson is wall-hanging, available with a matte varnished finish, in red blue and white. Made of laser-cut and folded sheet metal, the doors of the Cross cabinets fasten with a magnet.
AXO

cappellini > Styling
“Children will find the strength and courage to fight to build a better world only if they are able to imagine things that do not exist”, said Gianni Rodari. And this is exactly the inspiration of AXO, a project conceived by Cappellini in collaboration with Elena Salmistraro, presented during Salone del Mobile 2021. AXO is a diminutive of Axolotl, a unique species of salamander with a sort of magical power: the extraordinary ability to recover and regenerate itself.
3 Vases

cappellini > Styling
3 Vases, by François Azambourg, seems to challenge the force of gravity. This decorative element consists of a set of three vases of different shapes which are available in a fixed combination of colours.
Arya Vase

cappellini > Styling

Blue Candleholders

cappellini > Styling
Graceful geometry characterizes this pair of Blue Candleholders by designer Thomas Dariel. For this project, he defined space with slender curved stems, illuminated with indigo blue. The Blue Candleholders are made of curved laminated metal with a metal base.
Diavoletti Family

cappellini > Styling
The Diavoletti Family by Daniel Eltner is a collection of three different vases, each with a distinct colour. Red Diavoletto, pink Diavoletta and yellow Diavoletto form an enigmatic contemporary tryptic, an ironic reinterpretation of the symbolic talisman through which to exorcise the trials and tribulations of everyday life. Made of ceramic, the Diavoletti Family vases have a matte exterior and glossy interior, and are made using ancient techniques from the 1700s. The elements appear bizarre and surreal, inspired by the idols from the Cycladic civilization on the island of Mykonos.
Glass Newson Vase

cappellini > Styling
Distinctive sculptural lines define the Glass Newson Vase collection by Marc Newson. This new edition of a timeless classic, originally designed in the ‘90s using ceramic, is a vase which echoes the sinuous forms of the Orgone chaise longue, also designed by Newson – this detail will not go unnoticed by discerning eyes interested in the project’s evolution.
Jana

cappellini > Styling
Denoted by clean lines and hand-crafted, the Jana vases are a collection that was designed for Cappellini by Antonio Forteleoni. These vases are made of black earth, forged by hand on a pottery wheel, and available in two different shapes and dimensions. The markedly traditional design is of Sardinian origin, revised and redesigned with a contemporary edge, yet the the allure of the patina has been conserved, evolving over time to enhance both the colour and finish. Jana vases are the manifestation of the ancient art of ceramics: any imperfection in the colour or finish should be considered a precious attribute.
Monofiore

cappellini > Styling
Evocative of futuristic atmospheres, the perfect juxtaposition to classic furnishings, the Monofiore vase by Ronan Bouroullec is made of white polycarbonate.
Newson Vase

cappellini > Styling
The Newson Vase, by Marc Newson, is made of white ceramic with a shiny finish. The vase is equipped with a removable lid with three holes, also making it suitable for use as a flower vase, both when covered and open.
Off The Moon

cappellini > Styling
Like the moon reflecting in a pool of water, the Off the Moon tray by Thomas Dariel encompasses the magnetic charm of the universe through simple lines that exalt the decorative sphere.
Trace

cappellini > Styling
Trace vase, designed by Francesco Forcellini, comes in different sizes and is a contemporary object in which the digital aesthetics of 3D printing blend harmoniously with the artisanal craftsmanship of the porcelain, making each piece unique and utterly inimitable. Made of white ceramic with a matte finish on the exterior and a glossy polished interior, Trace vases feature an irregular three-dimensional texture with a geometric theme: the pattern on these vases is perpetually pressed into the ceramic, a feat of eye-catching and allure which exalts the expressive force of the material.
