The same Mid-Century Contemporary style that distinguishes the large, varied collection of Brasilia seats, also characterises the design of the night area, introducing a bed with a bold personality. Airy, and elevated from the ground, it sports a large wooden equipped headboard that embraces the padded part of the bed, the latter available in two heights. Its enveloping Dark Brown stained palisander Santos or in open-pore oak with a Honey stained veneer structure is characterised by its staved headboard and ends in two bedside tables/occasional tables, one at each side. These are available in two versions, one with shelf and one with drawer; both are suspended and available in two sizes. The boxspring base, on which the mattress lies, is available with the fabric or leather covering, the same featured on the padded headboard, enhanced with stitching. The bed also comes in a more minimal version, without the wooden structure. Each size of the boxspring base, in a choice of five widths, can generate various configurations, based on the choice of equipped headboard and its accessories, drawer or shelf.

Taking this idea to a larger scale, Dodo took inspiration from italian flatware manufacturer sambonet and created a pendant composed of a range of spoons from the smallest teaspoon to serving spoons which magnifies the reflective quality of this shape. The AAC 213 fuses the natural elegance and character of the four-legged solid wooden base with the softness of the upholstered shell. Retaining the fundamental idea shared by the AAC collection this model is characterised by a curved shell with a slightly higher back. Designed with optimal functionality in mind the shell construction offers a deep generous seat that combines inviting aesthetics with a high level of comfort whilst the lower armrests provide good support and enable the chair to fit underneath a table or desk. The wooden frame with elegant rounded legs brings character and stability and is available in different finishes with the shell offered in a variety of regular and quilted upholstery options. The multitude of variants and design combinations give this series great versatility in a wide range of corporate public and private contexts.
Ant™

The Ant™ chair’s visual expression is delicate and artful, much like the curves of a musical instrument. Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, the chair is made from nine layers of pressure moulded veneer. Its elegant shape disguises its remarkable strength and comfort. The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.
