A brass o graphite base is added for support. This artisanal process will make each lamp a unique and exclusive creation. The table version doesn’t settle for just two sizes: the most poetic of lamps offers more uses and comes in a stand-alone portable version and with another diameter – ø20 cm – halfway between the small and the large versions. There is also a choice of finish for the base between brushed brass and graphite, while the colours of the bulb remain the same.

Spring is a series of lights made up of stainless steel SPRING SURFACE BRASS LED strips. Pliant ribbons of stainless steel have been arranged like a whisk around our custom-made dimmable Tom Dixon LED disc. The semi-transparent shape thus created can be adjusted to a variety of silhouettes - from a flat arrangement reminiscent of a spirograph drawing, to a flying saucer configuration, and on to a fuller shape akin to a pumpkin. More Information The nature of the spiral design allows the voluminous shades to be easily flat packed for transportation. This year, the Spring family has expanded and has been adapted into a wall and ceiling light.
Gala

Cristina Celestino designs for Saba the new Gala seating system, thus establishing a collaboration with the company. The project responds to the desire of investigating the sofa as a place and not only as a mere functional product, to the aspiration of dematerializing the very concept of traditional living and to create a sofa with a strong iconographic design component. The “sofa” is a place of exchange, it generates new experiences and it shapes interior spaces. With a subtle reference to the retro-future atmosphere of sofas that inhabited the ‘70s, the new collection explores the flexibility of the upholstered object with a no gender, sculptural and sophisticated volume, which lends itself to interpreting different visions of interiors, from residential to hospitality contexts. The central backbone is a vertical element that draws pleated curves ready to accommodate, both on the front as well as on the back, a seat-pouf element of different depths. The many possible configurations give life to a “hybrid” and flexible sofa with which one can interact. In a collective utopian imagination, the name Gala is associated to the concept of elegance and sophistication, but Gala is also an ornament, a decoration that is created with a rippled textile band and in our case, Gala becomes the structure of the upholstery itself. Gala is also one of the planets in Star Wars and an indirect tribute to the world of stars, to the optimism and the avant-garde that characterized that era.

NONOTO BAR – the modulated bar chair. The NONOTO chair family is complemented with a new barstool: NONOTO BAR. The unique junction between frame and backrest lends the stool a sculptural character. A ring serves as footrest while also providing additional stability and adding another finish: both the walnut and the graphite black stain design come with a matt black powder coated footrest. Natural oak version and all other stains feature a rosegold coated footrest.
Wegner Queen Chair

The lighter counterpart to the Ox Chair is Hans J. Wegner’s Queen Chair which shares many of the same features. With its ample armrests and high, majestic back that extends up to support the neck. Regal, yet relaxed, the Queen Chair embodies Wegner’s belief that for a design to be striking it must be based on practicality.

In 2019, the architects Fabrizio Pellegrino and Lodovico Gabetti, together with Giuseppe Scaturro and Magdalena Kirova, respectively CEO and art director of Axolight, created a maieutic laboratory (realistically based on the Socratic method of reaching a truth in an authentic way) with the aim of reconstructing the thought of Studio Gabetti and Isola, linked to the original design idea of the Bul-Bo lamp. Among the foundations of this path, the direct stories of the architects Aimaro Isola and Guido Drocco (co-authors of Bul-Bo in 1971), the notes and original drawings of the studio, the memories of Lodovico Gabetti (son and pupil of Roberto Gabetti ) and Fabrizio Pellegrino (student of the Gabetti and Isola studio).

U-light, in its wall and ceiling version, leaves the iconic U, in favor of an essential circular form. A ring, in which structure is inserted a LED, providing a white warm light. Thanks to its minimal design, U-light fits different styles, personalizing the spaces with a great scenic impact. Moreover, thanks to the installation of an acoustic panel, U-light has an Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 2.49, that allows to reduce the noise as far as 44%.

At Terzani, we saw the beauty in the abacus’ mathematical purity and clean, functional design. In the hands of Terzani’s craftsmen, we’ve turned this inspiration into a new collection of modular pendant lamps whose flexibility allows for complex and beautiful configurations. Each module, or strand, of Abacus, made of a custom set of round, hand-blown opal glass which emit a soft and uniform light. And, as the original abacus was used to calculate everything from simple addition to complex formulas, we’ve retained the same scalability. Due to its customization, our Abacus light is just as suitable in a home as a commercial space, and its almost infinite configurations makes sure you always come up with the right solution. In Greek mythology, Gaia is the personification of the Earth and the mother of all life. Looking to capture the mythical and natural beauty of this Earth goddess, designer Jean-François Crochet has created the Gaia pendant light. Consisting of geometric frames of brass or raw metal reminiscent of the mountains Gaia created, the pendant uses led light to push light through the “cracks” formed. The resulting light creates a magical feeling, as if the lights peaking through were alive themselves.
