This year the Molteni&C Collection designed by Gio Ponti is enriched with the D.355.1-D.355.2 hanging bookcase an object that the great Milanese architect was to re-design several times over the years re-fashioned in the version for his Via Dezza house in Milan with an elmwood finish hand-painted white 240 or 195 cm long with two partitions that recall the bookcase in the 2013 Molteni&C catalogue.

Banco

Created in 1994 by Luca Meda concentrates the main functions of washing and cooking into a self-supporting structure patented by Dada. The new Banco redefines contrasts in materials and is offered mainly in black and white. A solid extruded aluminium frame supports the thin line of the worktop that defines the horizontal side of the cabinets. The structure remains suspended in mid-air and is completed by floor standing base units. The island structure supports the under-Banco base units. The worktop has a minimal thickness and sets into the aluminium structure hiding its solid interior.
Hi-Line 6

A unitary project simple and linear Hi-Line 6 is more than just a kitchen. Its a space to live in. This space is organised with esprit de gomtrie combined with rigorous shapes richness of detail and care for quality in construction. The base units are taller to hold more and better. Far from the classic concept of the kitchen Hi-Line 6 allows for several composition options. No handles are used instead there is a finger recess to open and close the doors.

Prime

Prime is designed to express the full potential of a kitchen featuring recessed opening. It comes in a range of different compositions designed to meet the most sophisticated aesthetic demands. The finger recess runs seamlessly the length and breadth of the product and ends on the side panels an alternative solution to the finished sides offering ample scope for personalization. The Prime door is shaped at the top at 45 to make opening simpler and more ergonomic. The project also presents a new glass door for wall units and Flair columns both lit with concealed LED profiles in the sides of the units and the new Wing system with tapered aluminium shelves. The Prime snack bar completes the composition with a titan and pewter aluminium framework and a top made of dark walnut accompained by Woody stools by Francesco Meda who designs the entire Woody seating collection for Molteni&C.

Hi-Line 6 Frame Door

A simple unitary linear design which in 2018 is embellished with the new Frame Door. Frame made of titan aluminium and pewter with a selection of quality finishes for the fronts. The top of the door is shaped to ensure an ergonomic grip. The composition is completed with the new system of shelves with built-in VVD hood and with the new Hi-Line6 snack bar with its solid light oak and black oak top featuring bevelled corners and profiles on a titan and pewter aluminium frame. Precious materials such as eucalyptus for the island base units with pewter aluminum framed doors and steel for the top with integrated sink and hob.

VVD

Vincent Van Duysen reinterprets the recessed handle detail in a modern and sophisticated key working on the contrast between the slim side and end units and the considerable thickness of the worktops which fit in interrupting the linearity of the worktop with stone sink bowls. The alternating materials and the interplay of solids and voids give rise to a dynamic and at once sophisticated kitchen. Generous pul l-out trays open-ended drawers and under-top trolleys complete the project. An aluminum load-bearing structure allows compositions completely suspended from the floor. Innovation is expressed with technological details such as the built-in LED strip light the aluminum profile that discreetly designs the door handle improving its grip and the innovative pivot hinge that allows the door to open 180 making the internal space more usable. The kitchen gains a new architectural look also thanks to Briht wall units with transparent glass doors and soft-closing micro-hinges.

Sga.bello is available in two seat heights to adapt to different types of worktops and in two materials leather in the colours black or white or a single pieces of matt polyurethane in the colours white orange mustard or lead.

A solid wooden structure made of two finishes natural ash and black stained ash features harmoniously linked lines of the seat also made of wood or covered with bonded hide leather. Revolving column

The rotating column was developed in 1988 by Dada R&D it is a pantry for corner solutions with an incredible storage capacity due to the full use of its internal shelves. The system is based on a central pillar in extruded aluminium and a patented rotation mechanism that pivots for 360 on two sets of ball bearings making every part of the five chrome metal wire shelves accessible. The safety profiles effectively protect hands when the pantry is accessed.
Pivot Column

The pivot columns developed in 2016 by Dada R&D is characterized by doors with 175 opening and magnet closing. It can be accessorized with a supporting worktop pull-out trays and electric appliances (oven coffee machine).
Full Height Columns

Open Operative Column

The range of Operative Columns is enriched with new modularity and design solutions in addition to the Operative Columns currently in the range there will be an unusual solution with a depth of 61.7 cm for alignment with standard columns. It will feature the same mechanism and will take up 93.8 cm in width. Inside it is made up of the open base with wooden drawers and a pull-out stainless steel top. This modularity does not allow for the use of electric appliances which however is still compatible with other dimensional solutions.
DFrame Wall Unit

Bright Wall Unit

In 2018 Bright wall unit is upgraded with the option of lighting on the single glass shelf thanks to a specific aluminum frame with integrated LED light.
Momento Containers

The back panel can be in walnut graphite oak or etched mirrored extra clear glass. The clock door can be installed on Momento wall container with soft close hinges. The clock quadrant is in painted extra clear glass with analogic chronograph.
Wing System

Wing system is the result of a flexible combination of splashbacks shelves and lighting profile and can be placed above the kitchen worktop or freely in other rooms. The structural element is the splashback which indicates the height of the accessorizable lighting bar inserted between the second splashback and the first chamfered shelf. The maximum height allowed for the splashback available in the finishes range is 650 mm. The shelves are made of extruded aluminum in titan pewter or matt lacquered finish and can be accessorized with LED profile. The alternation of the elements has no maximum height limit and has a maximum width of 3100 mm.
