Design duo Front was asked by Swedese to create something beautiful and useful from waste pieces from their own production, a typical project for how we work with Swedese Studio. A prototype was then created from leftover pieces of laminate from the production of Yngve Ekström's classic Lamino. Which later became our mirror Mirror, now awarded with the Born Classic award. The mirror is made of untreated oak veneer and is 49 cm wide and 88 cm high.

The light source comes from a tilting circular disc which can be adjusted to create both an indirect ambient and direct task light beam. The lamp body is crafted from powder coated die cast aluminium and steel and the light source is an injection moulded polycarbonate opalescent lens that conceals a flat panel of light.
