Crate Lounge Chair

Initially designed to make use of surplus wooden shipping crates by Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld in 1934 the Crate Collection has been relaunched in a Rietveld Originals x HAY collaboration. Made with respect for the original design the Crate Lounge Chair shares the same precisely balanced proportions and transparent construction to minimise production costs and optimise the assembly process. Featuring low proportions with a gently sloping back and seat with supportive armrests the chairs simplicity and spatial design mirrors the designers architectural style providing functionality and comfort without absorbing space. Crafted in solid pine with a water-based lacquered finish in different colour options the Crate Lounge Chair is suitable for a wealth of outdoor settings and can be supplemented with optional seat cushions in selected textiles for extra comfort.
Vine coffee table

Vine coffee tables are available in multiple heights and in multiple sizes. They have a four-star wooden base embellished with brushed gold details and leather inserts, element that is visible also in the side tables of the same collection. Wegner Ox Ottoman

The Ox Ottoman, designed by Hans J Wegner, is made to match the Ox Chair as well as the Queen Chair. The fully upholstered body is elevated by stainless-steel legs. When fabric is chosen, the sides of the ottoman can be chosen in leather, or a contrasting fabric – a signature detail which can be mirrored in the piping of the easy chairs.
Cheval Bar Cabinet

The Cheval bar cabinet will command attention in any setting. Supported by a platinum-finished stainless base, the bar features beveled step-down panels in each door and a magnificent piece of custom hardware dividing the two. The interior is painted a rich aquamarine color with a mirrored back panel. There are hanging stemware racks on the upper part of each door with glass storage below. A black laminate serving surface is concealed behind the drop-front door, above which are three adjustable glass shelves. Touch LED lighting illuminates the interior.

Cobalt Meridian Bar

The Meridian Cobalt Bar is the very essence of a statement piece, with a sophisticated translucent cobalt blue painted doors. Gold striping defines the perimeter, pulling the eye to a custom door pull inlaid with mother of pearl. The base features elegant tapered metal legs and a graceful concave stretcher finished in antiqued silver leaf. Behind the doors is a mirrored back with touch lighting, three adjustable tempered glass shelves, a mirrored serving shelf, two drawers and a black laminated pull-out tray.
Comma tray 40 cm

Where does a circle start and end? Comma is designed by Mia Lagerman and has a lively shape that plays with the open and the closed. A circle, and at the same time not. A decorative product with a simple function. The tray is part of the Comma family, which consists of mirrors and trays in several different shapes, sizes and colours. The unique frame is made of layer-glued and molded ash veneer, and the shape requires advanced production technology. A production that is one of Swedese's specialties after long experience in carefully shaping the bent wood. The tray is available in two different sizes, 40 and 52 cm in diameter and has a decorative brass fitting.

Arezzo Bar Cabinet

The Arezzo bar cabinet features bold carved overlays on the doors and five tapered turned legs on the base, connected by a serpentine stretcher design. The piece is 88-inches tall. The doors open to 170 degrees with automatic stops. Behind the doors is a mirrored back, three adjustable tempered glass shelves, touch LED lighting, three drawers with heavy-duty drawer guides, and a pull-out serving shelf with a white laminate surface.

Globe Burst Chandelier LED Opalescent

Console Liber

The console table Liber can also become a bookcase, being versatile in its shapes and compositions and having several shelves available on which to place books and objects. Created by designer and architect Luca Papini, this console makes any environment brighter and more elegant. The console or bookcase is made in transparent, extra clear or smoked glass, it is available in several sizes and features a mirrored base. Finally, it can be accessorized with drawers in wood or covered with leather, creating an elegant contrast with the transparency.

Designer Luca Papini created the bookcase Liber in 2013, starting from a sole geometric form which then gave life to the system in transparent, extra clear or smoked glass. The bookcase thus varies and changes in several versatile elements, each with its own function: bookcase with mirrored base, sideboard supported by glass feet and small tables that can be used as bed side tables. The designer bookcase Liber is available with wooden drawers in walnut, matt white or RAL lacquered, or covered in leather.

A new interpretation of the living room system where the lightness of glass is the principal quality. WG system can be designed with maximum liberty, with compositions of horizontal elements available in two heights and two depths. The vast range of storage units includes solutions with hinge door, flap door, drawers and shelves. Wall shelves with concealed fixing, completely covered with mirrors. The different lengths available allow to add creativity to the compositions.

The coat rack Welcome, created by the virtual designer Uto Balmoral, has a complementary structure made of two rectangular slabs, inclined inwards. Versatile and elegant, it results suitable for different areas of the home: entrances, bedrooms or hallways. The coat hangers in brushed metal, available in gold, copper or bronze, are placed on top of the ceramic slab. This one, contoured by a wooden frame in walnut Canaletto, is available in following finishes: Pietra di Savoia anthracite bocciardato, Noir Desir polished or matt, Emperador polished or matt, Calacatta oro venato polished, Pietra Grey polished or matt, Sahara Noir polished or bocciardato. While the second panel is made of mirrored glass in variations smoked or bronze.

The designer Alexander Girard drew wide acclaim with his interior concept for the legendary Miller House (1953-57), for which he personally selected each individual object. The centrepiece of the house was a so-called 'conversation pit', a sunken seating area in the living room, with built-in sofas covered in fabrics by Girard and decorated with embroidered pillows made specifically for this setting. <br/><br/>Girard's famous 'double heart' motif was used and varied by the designer throughout his lifetime. It is composed of two intersecting S's that form a continuous loop of mirrored hearts. Each S represents the first letter of the pet names used by Girard and his wife – Sandro and Susie – which prompted him to name the double heart symbol '<a href="/en-me/magazine/details/sansusi">Sansusi</a>'.<br/><br/>The embroidered pillow with the 'Double Heart 2' motif was created by Alexander Girard for the Miller family in 1975 – 20 years after the completion of the Miller House.<br/>
