It is crafted in fabric with a water-repellent finish as well as having a high UV resistance that makes it more fade-resistant with good colour fastness properties. The cushion is lightly padded and features a Velcro fastening underneath the seat with two straps that fasten around the top of the chair frame to keep the cushion securely in place. This re-edition is produced by Molteni&C based on the original drawings from the ponti archives. And covered floors, walls, and roofs with terra cotta tiles (baked earth).Clay tiles were essential for the foundations of the first California Missions, and continue today to be an important element in the building of Spanish Revival Architecture homes in California, and in other states such as Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Florida to name a few.
