Retaining the same compact body shaped armrests and simple sculpted design that characterise the rest of the lounge series this design features a solid base with angled legs that slant slightly outwards for optimal stability. The base is available in different finishes and the quilted shell is offered with two different textiles or leathers to create a unique look that works equally well in corporate public or private contexts. The properties of earth tone color, and texture of our Spanish Mission Red Tile are derived from its clay. The tiles are composed of clay deposits from California and totally handcrafted using old-world methods introduced to this region by the first Spanish explorers and missionaries. Using local natural resources the early Spanish settlers made the first Missions with adobe clay tiles, which were only sun-air dry. And covered floors, walls, and roofs with terra cotta tiles (baked earth).Clay tiles were essential for the foundations of the first California Missions, and continue today to be an important element in the building of Spanish Revival Architecture homes in California, and in other states such as Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Florida to name a few.

Edge is a series of understated, hand-thrown terracotta pots in a range of sizes and finishes produced in Portugal using local clay. Inspired by ancient Greek amphora and traditional pottery techniques, the pots taper gently towards the base where they rest on a raised foot. Designed by the Danish ceramic duo Stilleben. Designed for indoor use, the Edge Pot in size Ø18 is an attractive piece to house plants on windowsills or shelves. It includes a small metal grid in the base that allows water to drain. The pot does not have a drainage hole.
