BM62 Armchair Linen Webbing

The BM62 Chair was designed by Børge Mogensen in 1958, and utilises the inherent properties of solid wood to create a minimal, yet extremely sturdy construction. The structured design is, however, enriched with outstanding comfort and carefully crafted details, such as its exposed finger joints and seat and back in cane wicker. The chair’s runner legs make it particularly suitable for use on carpets, but it can also be fitted with gliders.

In 1942, Carl Malmsten designed the elegant armchair Widemar on behalf of the lawyer and politician Ingrid Gärde Widemar, who in 1968 became a justice and thus the first female judge in the Swedish Supreme Court.
