Gio Ponti designed everything for the first Montecatini building in Largo Donegani in Milan in 1935 architecture and furnishings including desks lamps wardrobes. The Chair designed originally in 1935 for the first Montecatini Building in Milan. This re edition is produced based on the original drawings from the Gio Ponti Archives. Entirely built from polished aluminium.

Designed in 1956-1957 the bookcase is part of the furniture of Gio Pontis private house in Via Dezza in Milan. This re-edition is produced based on the original drawings from the Gio Ponti Archives. It is part of the Molteni&C Gio Ponti Collection. Made from shaped multi-layered material with elm veneer partly with natural transparent finish partly hand-painted in white. Available in the versions with or without applied mirror.

The seat is inserted between the lines and links them. Tobia Scarpa has re-designed the armrest joint to make the chair comfier and more linear.
