DSS - Stackable polypropylene training chair _ Vitra

The Eames Plastic Chairs, designed by Charles and Ray Eames, are renowned for their durability and versatility, making them ideal for public spaces with mass seating. Available in various models, including the DSS (Dining Height Side Chair Stacking Base), these chairs can be stacked and linked together using ganging brackets for row seating. They also feature options like row numbering elements and individual number clips. The seat shells are made from dyed-through, recycled polypropylene, which is 100% recyclable, and starting January 2024, they are produced using post-consumer plastic from Germany's 'Yellow Bag' collection, reducing climate-damaging emissions and energy consumption. The chairs come in multiple configurations—visitor, dining, rocking, swivel, or stacking versions—and can be customized with different shell colors, upholstery options, and bases, including a chrome-plated tubular steel base. A 3D file of the product is available for download, allowing for detailed preview and planning.
