The Linha dining table embodies the essence of minimalism, a hallmark of the Brazilian architect’s design philosophy, showcasing his unwavering commitment to elegant proportions and meticulous attention to detail. Named "Linha," meaning "line" in Portuguese, this table is a bold response to the challenge of crafting a dining table with an expansive span, a remarkably slender 16 mm frame, and a top that can extend up to 4 meters in length. Despite its substantial materials, including striking marble that takes center stage, the table exudes a visually lightweight and airy aesthetic. The design offers two distinct versions: one with a sculptural bridge-like frame where the top aligns seamlessly with the sides, and another with blade-like legs set back from the surface. The round-top variant features slightly curved, blade-like legs, adding a subtle sculptural touch. The table’s stratified frame is finished in matte black lacquer, complemented by aluminium sides with a bronzed satin copper finish, and is available with tops in Orobico Grey or Sahara Black marble, with select sizes also offering Tobacco and Santos Rosewood options. A 3D file of the Linha dining table is available for download, allowing for a closer look at its intricate design.
