Capri Base

Capri Base is the new edition of the iconic Capri armchair designed by Gordon Guillaumier. The result of a design study based on subtraction, Capri Base appears as a sculptural form emptied inside to create a soft curved shell, made even more comfortable by its goose-down seat cushion. The only concession to geometric rigour is the square Pewter-coloured metal base on which the upholstered volume rests. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment. For the Funiculí, forty years are nothing; it has stood the test of time and now comes in new colours that further expand its possibilities.
