The concept of Sun is inspired by the early hours dawn, when the light of the sun plays along the horizon as it begins to appear. The Yonoh Studio played with superimposing materials to achieve this effect, creating a light with a luminous glow that is capable of transporting us to that precise moment.The light emanating from the Sun captivates the eye and helps define the space. Its design strikes a balance, drawing attention without taking centre stage. The different materials in the Sun – a metallic outside, a polycarbonate surface and a translucent blown glass diffuser – each manage to reflect light in their own way, as happens in those moments when darkness gives way to light.
