Paralela, a modular system designed by the Spanish Nahtrang Studio, stemmed from a quest to lend shape to light so that the light itself becomes a tangible decorative luminous element. Hence the idea of creating light-filled borosilicate glass cylinders – joined to one another by Nylon PA12 connectors – that use gravity to occupy space in an orderly manner, entering into a visual dialog that becomes a symphony of light. This is a complete and new product family, available in both horizontal and vertical pendant version, table lamp, floor lamp and sconce, in different sizes and five colors.

Bul-Bo

The Bul-Bo lamp belongs to the series of furnishings designed for the Olivetti Residential Center in Ivrea (Turin) by the architectural firm Gabetti & Isola (Roberto Gabetti, Aimaro Isola, Guido Drocco, Luciano Re) between 1968 and 1971. The context in which the designers worked was still strongly influenced by the enlightened mind of Adriano Olivetti, who died a few years earlier.

In 2019, the architects Fabrizio Pellegrino and Lodovico Gabetti, together with Giuseppe Scaturro and Magdalena Kirova, respectively CEO and art director of Axolight, created a maieutic laboratory (realistically based on the Socratic method of reaching a truth in an authentic way) with the aim of reconstructing the thought of Studio Gabetti and Isola, linked to the original design idea of the Bul-Bo lamp. Among the foundations of this path, the direct stories of the architects Aimaro Isola and Guido Drocco (co-authors of Bul-Bo in 1971), the notes and original drawings of the studio, the memories of Lodovico Gabetti (son and pupil of Roberto Gabetti ) and Fabrizio Pellegrino (student of the Gabetti and Isola studio).

With Sunday, the Axolight creative team set the goal of creating a lamp inspired by the pleasure of immersion into light. The Sunday lamp draws inspiration from the feeling of well-being generated by a calm and satisfying light, the one by which we would like to be surrounded from during a day of rest, as in the classic ideal of a Sunday morning.

Salina

Salina is a lamp that flies: light and essential, linear and soft, it is a large geometry that remains in mid-air, lights up and gathers under its flaps. It is created from a square of fabric folded in the corners by 4 pinces which give it the concave shape. The fabric is one moment tense, one moment free in a balance of straight lines and curves that make it move, a play of shadows and light that paint it like a watercolor.

Single spotlight The light fixtures have been designed to ensure a high visual comfort. The constant current LED chip and its lens are hosted in a recessed position inside the cylinder. Each light beam has a power of approximately 6,5W (700 Lm) and it is dimmable. The standard lenses produce a beam angle of 38 degrees or 12 degrees. It will also be possible to customize the LED source with additional color temperatures. LED driver included.

Thanks to its important, but at the same time light, volume, U-light can fill the space in a dynamic way, but without burdening it.  Minimal design, lighting intensity and visual comfort make U-light a lamp that can ornament different architectural styles, from domestic to contract. Through the installation of an acoustic panel, U-light acoustic has also an Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 3.11, that allows it  to reduce the noise as far as 49%. U-light was awarded the “NYCxDESIGN Award 2016”, in the category Lighting, by Interior Design magazine and ICFF.

Thanks to its minimal design, U-light fits different styles, personalizing the spaces with a great scenic impact. Moreover, thanks to the installation of an acoustic panel, U-light has an Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 2.49, that allows to reduce the noise as far as 44%.

Ambrosia is essentially a line of light that can be converted into a modular system, capable of extending the illumination it offers to adapt to any space. A design that recovers and revisits the tube light, timeless, and updates it so that its simple structure and diffuse lighting add beauty to any space. This collection expands on its possibilities by proposing a change in the plane of light, from horizontal to vertical.This new style of lamp is available in two versions, both of which are pendant lamps. First there is the Ambrosia V, a 235-cm-high vertical structure consisting of two tubes of light of different lengths. An interrupted line of light, a detail that brings lightness and character to the lamp. Its design allows you to choose the lighting, either towards the wall for indirect light, or towards the main space for direct light. This aesthetic and functional design also works well in domestic settings. The other vertical version, Ambrosia V, joins three light tubes placed at different heights, forming a sculptural ensemble. This option can provide a great deal of light and therefore comes with a dimming system for easy lighting control. It is available in two heights of 130 and 175 cm. Both sizes can be electrically connected through the ceiling rosette or the floor plug. The new Ambrosia allows you to create vertical lighting compositions, combining different sizes in repetition to illuminate large spaces. A totally new perspective for this flexible lighting system, which achieves maximum light expression with a minimalist structure. For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until an essential object was left: beautiful, useful and simple. This was the case with the Funiculí, a 1979 lamp that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.Lightweight, it takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or for direct light, depending on how you direct the beam. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment. For the Funiculí, forty years are nothing; it has stood the test of time and now comes in new colours that further expand its possibilities. It is no longer only available in the neutrals moss grey, black and off-white. The new colours – green, terracotta and mustard – are intense. They are design statements, highlighting the shapes of the Funiculí and bringing chromaticism to the space. The new shades are cheerful and vivid, conveying that colour can also be essential.

The Matin Floor Lamp offers a contemporary yet poetic design with a construction that combines visual delicacy with physical robustness. The flat-packed design consists of a slender polished brass steel frame complemented with matte black hardware and zinc alloy joints at the base which is paired with a pleated cotton shade in a variety of carefully selected colours. The light source is an integrated LED offering a diffused light which is accompanied by a digital in-line dimmer floor switch to adjust the output of light if required.
