A playful study of reflection, the idea for Anish was born when designer Dodo Arslan, while playing with his daughter, became fascinated by the almost infinite reflections spoons unleashed due to their concave and convex surfaces. Taking this idea to a larger scale, Dodo took inspiration from italian flatware manufacturer sambonet and created a pendant composed of a range of spoons from the smallest teaspoon to serving spoons which magnifies the reflective quality of this shape. The result is an installation that creates a “galaxy” effect of seemingly endless light. Design Dodo Arslan. Made in Italy.

The Blevio table, designed by Ignazio Gardella in 1930, is a timeless masterpiece that has been reimagined by Molteni&C as part of their Heritage Collection, marking the beginning of a collaborative partnership with the Gardella Historical Archive. Originally crafted as a unique piece for Gardella’s family home, Villa Usuelli in Blevio on Lake Como, this elegant and geometrically linear table embodies the perfect synthesis of form and function, with its refined details and harmonious design. The table features vertical supports connected to the tabletop via wooden capital-shaped elements, with a sophisticated interplay of counter curves that enhance both its aesthetic and structural stability. While the original design was coated in copper, Molteni&C’s Research and Development Center has introduced a durable metal powder varnish to replicate the same artisanal shine, ensuring longevity. Additionally, a Breccia Capraia marble option is available, set into an aluminum surface for a luxurious alternative. The proportions have been thoughtfully adjusted to suit contemporary dining heights while preserving the integrity of Gardella’s original vision. A 3D file of the Blevio table is available for download, allowing designers and enthusiasts to explore its intricate details virtually.
