Peaks is a family of pendants, composed of a string of elongated cones in different configurations. The graded shading on the curved surface of each cone is as much of a feature as the projected beams emitted from each cone. It can be displayed as a single, double or triple arrangement, pointing up or down depending on the preferred direction of light. An identical inverted cone acts as a rose attached to the ceiling. When the light is off, the forms appear very schematic, as if borrowed from a geometric still life. When on, the shading changes, as light casts along the curved surface.

Vertigo

Vertigo is a pendant light formed of two elements: a simple horizontal beam with a linear array of LED light acts as an up and downlighter, with a vertical strap that holds the fixture in balance. It is this simple attachment, suggesting the hoisting of a structural beam, that evokes the iconic images of the steel construction of skyscrapers in 1930s New York City captured by photographer Charles C. Ebbets.There is no separate ceiling rose – the driver is fully integrated into the structure of the pendant and the two pendant rods carry the electrical current, removing any need for wires that might visually obstruct the design. The light intelligently operates through a touch-sensitive dimmer in the middle of the horizontal beam.Vertigo is produced in aluminium, powder coated in either black or white. It is available in two length options – 1.5m and 2m – and there are multiple drop lengths to choose from, covering all possible requirements.

Custom patina available.Tip of the Tongue consists of table lamp, wall lamp and ceiling-mounted sconce, all which feature an interesting illusion: a luminous mouth-blown opaline sphere appears to roll down the edge of a solid polished brass base. This delicate gesture of a sphere poised on the edge of the surface evokes the familiar phenomenon of failing to retrieve a word from memory, expressing a moment of tension in the form of the design. Tip of the Tongue was launched at Euroluce in Milan in 2013. It has gone on to become one of Michael Anastassiades’ most iconic pieces.

Molten StoneConcrete is versatile; it comes to life without any shape and because of it provides for countless formal options, from smooth finishes to rough surfaces, with a very diverse aesthetic. A careful research of the many characteristics of this material is the fil rouge to our three solutions, Block, Mold and Plain; these three collections feature different characteristics brought together in the Master Plan.Block draws inspiration from concrete in the form closest to the natural elements it is made of: rock, clay and limestone. Gravel and rocks of varying coarseness emerge to the surface, as if immersed in concrete in a semi-liquid state. Produced in Mist white and three shades of grey – light Cinder, dark Iron and muddy Nickel – Block is available in the 120×120, 60×120, 75×150, 75×75, 60×60 and 30×60 formats, either with a matt or soft finish, with a soft hand and a very pleasant tactile texture.

I am fascinated by the thought of using it in exactly the way it grows naturally by simply cutting it at the moment it reaches its required diameter. I love the idea that I could use it without any industrial processing, by simply defining a series of parameters to determine my selection and cutting process. The project is essentially an exercise of negotiation with nature.”
