Georg is a collection of functional furniture and accessories made from a warm mix of Nordic sensuality and Japanese minimalism. Designed in collaboration with Nordic designer, Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm. Whether as a stand-alone piece or an addition to a table, the Georg Bench adds a warm atmosphere in practical form. The natural oak bench comes with a choice of unbleached linen cushion and braided linen strap or a dark grey woollen cushion with black leather strap. The black coloured oak bench comes with a soft woollen cushion in light grey with leather strap.

Hven Bench is made from solid oak with a beautiful grain pattern and superb durability. A minimalistic design, characterised by its round legs and corners, the bench sits easily with other furniture.

Handmade in collaboration with a local workshop for the blind and sight impaired, the designs marry form with function. Designed by the Danish/Swedish furniture designer Chris Liljenberg Halstrøm Set on a slender, painted steel frame, the seat of the minimalist, two-seater Vent Bench is woven by hand from paper cord. The chair is made from 9 layers of pressure moulded veneer for strength, flexibility and durability despite its slender form. This is the most popular design within Fritz Hansen’s chair collection. The 3107 has slim yet strong steel-tubed legs that complement the shell’s curved profile. Legs extend just beyond the edge of the seat, allowing chairs to be easily arranged in rows or stacked for storage. The base/legs are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat further enhancing the clean, minimal aesthetic of Jacobsen’s design.

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, the chair is made from nine layers of pressure moulded veneer. Its elegant shape disguises its remarkable strength and comfort. The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.

Later that year, the chair was displayed at the Triennale in Milan, where it received the Grand Prix, the finest distinction of the exhibition. The celebrated chair comes in a range of models and can be customised with an almost endless variety of colours, wood types and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Remember that the Grand Prix chair with wooden legs is not stackable.

The four-legged N02 Recycle chair is elegantly simple and functional, as well as stackable and easy to arrange in rows. Gently curved, steel legs recall the single-shell chair designs of Arne Jacobsen and Vico Magistretti.

About a Lounge AAL 83 Soft Duo

The AAL 83 Soft Duo fuses the minimalist more angular aesthetics of the moulded plywood frame with the softness and warmth of the quilted shell in contrasting materials. Retaining the same compact body shaped armrests and simple sculpted design that characterise the rest of the lounge series this design features a solid base with angled legs that slant slightly outwards for optimal stability. A stacking chair signed by the hand of Magnus Long, a designer of many awards. With its typical industrial design, Lagoa is a classic and timeless chair. Designed by Magnus Long, Lagoa is a low-stacking dining chair for cafés, restaurants and domestic interiors. Its form is inspired by the liquid lines of Rio de Janeiro and takes its name from the Lagoa (lagoon) district of the city. The properties of earth tone color, and texture of our Spanish Mission Red Tile are derived from its clay. The tiles are composed of clay deposits from California and totally handcrafted using old-world methods introduced to this region by the first Spanish explorers and missionaries. Using local natural resources the early Spanish settlers made the first Missions with adobe clay tiles, which were only sun-air dry. And covered floors, walls, and roofs with terra cotta tiles (baked earth).Clay tiles were essential for the foundations of the first California Missions, and continue today to be an important element in the building of Spanish Revival Architecture homes in California, and in other states such as Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, and Florida to name a few.
