The Ro™ lounge chair is aptly named after the Danish word for ‘tranquillity’. Designed by Jaime Hayon, the easy chair creates space for relaxation and reflection, enticing you to immerse in its curves and take a moment for yourself. The base is made of brushed aluminium or solid oak with a clear lacquer finish. The solid oak legs of the JH2 further enhance the relaxed warmth and enveloping shell of the chair’s elegantly curved backrest and seat. By continuing the free-flowing profile of the shell, they extend its form downwards, culminating in delicately rounded points, like perfectly poised ballet shoes balanced on the floor.

The 3107 has slim yet strong steel-tubed legs that complement the shell’s curved profile. Legs extend just beyond the edge of the seat, allowing chairs to be easily arranged in rows or stacked for storage. The base/legs are discreetly mounted to a circular disc beneath the seat further enhancing the clean, minimal aesthetic of Jacobsen’s design.

Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1952, the chair is made from nine layers of pressure moulded veneer. Its elegant shape disguises its remarkable strength and comfort. The 3101 model retains the sculptural simplicity of the original three-legged Ant design while expanding its distinct, expressive profile to suit a myriad of interior settings. Although the four-legged version of the Ant chair was occasionally produced during Jacobsen’s lifetime, it was only put into official production in 1971.

The celebrated chair comes in a range of models and can be customised with an almost endless variety of colours, wood types and upholstery. Wooden legs are angled smoothly outwards in this design, mimicking the steel legs of Jacobsen’s other plywood chairs. This is one of the few Arne Jacobsen chair designs with wooden legs. Remember that the Grand Prix chair with wooden legs is not stackable.

The four-legged N02 Recycle chair is elegantly simple and functional, as well as stackable and easy to arrange in rows. Gently curved, steel legs recall the single-shell chair designs of Arne Jacobsen and Vico Magistretti.
