Intervallo is a luminous sculpture that transforms light into a tangible material, casting intricate shadows and accentuating its elegant forms. As part of the Battiti research project, this piece reimagines a familiar icon from European figurative tradition, infusing it with a delicate, contemporary spirit. Combining artistry and functionality, Intervallo serves as both a decorative and sculptural element, crafted in a single, glossy berrettino glaze that honors Italy’s rich ceramic heritage. A 3D file of the product is available for download, allowing for a closer exploration of its design. Foscarini, the renowned Italian lighting design company behind Intervallo, was founded in 1981 on the island of Murano, Venice, and is celebrated for its innovative, avant-garde lighting solutions that blend artistry with high-quality craftsmanship.
