What distinguishes a lamp from a light source is the question that initially triggered Rick Tegelaar to imagine and create the Filigree Floorlamp. Thanks to an elegant and dainty network of fine wires that reminds us of delicate filigree jewelry the translucent screen protecting the powerful LED light at the heart of the lamp is held under tension distributing a soft light glow evenly across the room. When pointed towards a wall or ceiling with the ornamental filigree flower structure facing us the lamp projects a playful network of shadows to mesmerize and entertain.

First produced 2011 Black patinated brass Mouth-blown opaline sphere Integrated LED, 9W Lead time: 12 to 14 weeks The first Mobile Chandelier was presented at Design Miami in 2008 for Cristina Grajales Gallery in New York. It was later developed as a collection for the Michael Anastassiades brand and has since remained an ongoing series. There are 16 chandeliers to date, the concept evolving with each new design. For example, Mobiles 1 to 6 consist of linear tubes assembled in varying configurations, while Mobiles 7 to 13 see the introduction of geometric curves. The newest additions, Mobiles 14 to 16, introduce a more free-form design, representing a departure from the disciplined geometry presented in previous models.

Known for his democratic and functional design, his flexible and convertible furniture meant to be used in many different ways – all to the benefit of the user. Interactive, technological and fun.The magic of the light that takes shape the moment it is extracted.Metrica takes its name from the classic measuring instrument, inspired by the same gesture of extraction: in fact, the LED light source can be extracted or repositioned inside the body lamp by replicating the same movement of the meter. The uniqueness of Metrica lies in this interplay of technology and aesthetics. In fact, there is a sensor inside the movable structure that reads the alternation of black and white, thus adjusting the brightness. The LED light source, hidden inside the support that forms the base, lights up as soon as it is extracted, gradually increasing in intensity until it reaches its maximum position. It switches off as it returns to the base. Metrica in the table version is characterised by a polished body with a height of 28 cm resting on a polished circular base.
