The curvy line copies the sculptures with continuous profiles, the best known Italian exponent was Giuseppe Bertelli (1900-1974). Santapouf is used as a small seat, a table and blows up into a last minute bed.

An extremely simple and small sofa with no arms. As it often happens with Giulio Manzoni’s (2011) projects, with small adaptations shape changes together with the functionality. Just by turning the seat of 90˚ the sofa becomes a chaise longue and a single bed just by reclining the back. The two elements close together become a large sofa or a comfortable bed when necessary.

Inspired by the continuous profile sculptures by Giuseppe Bertelli (1900-1974), Denis Santachiara’s Santapouf Pro is a soft pouf, whose lines can be reminiscent of the features of Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Marcel Duchamp or Le Corbusier. Filled with expanded polyurethane, it is upholstered in Lycra and is available in ten different colours.
