This rather small, light and easily movable armchair provides active comfort while still radiating a cocooning atmosphere. The paradox between weight and comfort and between active and passive is the essence of the design. Inspired by a supernatural lightness, designer Jean-Pierre Audebert dreamed of a table that seems to float. A dining table, with exceptional styling and intended to be seen.The Rialto dining table has a wonderful optical effect created by the ingenious combination of the smooth tabletop and the organically sculpted legs, with a discrete decorative element.

What makes the design unique, is the floating character of the base. The base is hardly visible, but integrates perfectly with the upholstered seating elements. Entirely in line with the other Shiva elements, the low back can be easily adjusted into a highly comfortable back cushion.

With the Idaho mono move recliner, JORI has succeeded in grafting the design of the existing multi move recliner on the famous patented JORI recliner mechanism.

With Perla, JORI presents a complete and especially comfortable collection, ranging from chairs and bar stools to lounge chairs, all in different versions. The Perla family is designed and developed by the Italian designers Pocci+Dondoli. The motivation and starting point for this design was the harmony between optimal comfort and refined lines.

Piuro

Simply calling the conveniently light and innovatively designed PIURO a small chair would not do it justice at all. What we are talking about here is a design object for which the designer drew his inspiration from the sun breaking through hectic clouds and churning lava flowing from Mount Etna. The result is a chair with a minimal structure, but exceptional comfort, with or without armrests, with feet in painted or chromed steel and with removable upholstery in leather or fabric.

This relax chair places all the more emphasis on seating comfort and finishing. Its classy appearance is achieved firstly by the integration of small leather loops on the front of the chair, producing a slightly padded impression. The choice between two armrests either gives the whole a cosy and emotional impact or makes it a trendy design piece. The comfort line is extra accentuated by the slightly inward sloping back and at the same time can be optimally determined by the different seat heights.

The contemporary finish immediately creates a prominent timeless character and the absence of a base makes this sofa exude a remarkable visual ‘lightness’. The Bellino has the typical seating line of acclaimed classics such as Indy and Linea and has been finished with an ornamental stitch on the feet. The optional multifunctional cushion increases the feeling of comfort even more as a head rest or in its active position as an extra arm cushion. There are various opinions about the design of seating furniture. Some love a highly positioned model with an elegant frame, others prefer a low covered seating element, where you barely see the frame. In order to extend the success of the multifunctional Wing, launched during the autumn of 2015, towards a larger public, JORI came up with a variant of the original open base-model: the WING ‘DIVAN BASE’.

They meet the current need of ‘desocializing’, the need to separate oneself from the stressful and noisy outside world, and to completely immerse in oneself. The cocoonconcept of the lounge chair, with its seductively comfortable inner shell, fits in perfectly with this trend.

Longueville Landscape

No design should ignore comfort, and the comfort aspect is deeply ingrained into the genes of JORI. This has also very much formed the focus of the assignment Jori entrusted to the designer, when they commissioned the restyling of the successful Longueville sofa which was first launched in 1998.
