First introduced in 1994, with its clear and timeless design, the famous Starck cone stood out from ephemeral bathroom trends, set new standards and became one of Duravit's best-selling pieces of furniture. Inspired by the archaic forms of the bucket and basin, the Starck cone has a minimalist and natural design because it harks back to the origin of water in our homes: water flows vertically from the pipes of a well and is collected in a simple bucket. In 2024, Starck's elegant, visionary cone celebrates its 30th anniversary with an upgrade: a wide choice of colours for basin, furniture and handles brings the elegant c-bonded version of the icon into the present and offers individual, modern design options. While retaining the characteristic design identity, the washbasin solution has an even more elegant look thanks to the innovative c-bonded technology in which the washbasin and base are joined almost seamlessly through a complex process. The connection between the washbasin and base creates a precise edge that lends the furniture a refined elegance. In addition to the existing high-gloss white ceramic, in the new c-bonded version the washbasin combined with the cabinet is also available in satin white as well as in matt and high-gloss black. The ceramics are also enhanced with HygieneGlaze® Plus, a glaze that combines the highest levels of hygiene with extraordinary ease of cleaning. The final touch is provided by the cabinet handles, available in five different colours: Chrome, Diamond Black, Brushed Bronze and Steel, and Polished Gold.
