A French term derived from silk with a rippled or “watered” appearance, moiré is an optical effect that results in the illusion of waves or the movement of water. This effect is achieved by having an opaque, ruled pattern overlaid over another. Designer Christian Lava’s studies of this effect have led to his latest design aptly titled, Moiré. Using overlapping grids of metal, this LED pendant light dynamically changes shape following the viewer’s gaze, practically coming to life with a vibrating energy. I Lucci Argentati draws from nature to create a whimsical, yet modern light. Recalling a school of fish darting through freshwater, it creates a mesmerizing luminescence. Thanks to its modular system, I Lucci Argentati is customizable and can be combined in many different configurations: from small to extra large and finished either in brushed nickel, brushed gold or white. For his work for Terzani, Nigel Coates, well known for his unorthodox approach to design, has created an engaging, unique light. Customizable groups of hand made crystal "angels” are illuminated by halogen or led lamps. What caused these angels to fall from the heavens? It’s up to the viewers to decide. Either way, Angel Falls is sure to garner attention, and generate conversation, in any setting. Design Nigel Coates. Made in Italy.

At Terzani, we spend countless days searching the globe for talented new designers, but sometimes they find us. Such is the case with the young designers Luca Martorano and Mattia Albicini (Draw studio) who approached us with the design for Calle, a fantastic new light we instantly fell in love with. It howcases our skill at crafting crystal to take the material to an exciting, modern place. Luca and Mattia worked with our raftsmen to create a slender inverted flute of crystal that, like the calla lily it mimics, can be grouped into stunning bouquets of light. Design Draw. Matheola is the primordial name of Matera, a name that holds the essence of its origins and gives shape to this design, deeply inspired by the land where it was born. Generous in scale and presence, Matheola invites the whole family into a shared comfort experience. Its wide, welcoming seat can be further extended in depth, while a refined mechanism allows the backrest to glide backward, increasing both seat depth and back height for a new level of relaxation. Defined by a modern, essential aesthetic, Matheola is an extremely versatile model, offering both linear and corner configurations to adapt seamlessly to different living spaces. For Salone del Mobile 2026, Matheola evolves through two new interpretations. The one-arm version expands, becoming almost a two-seater, while the armless version introduces an unexpected geometry that enhances seat depth. The result is a dynamic, asymmetrical composition—designed to adapt, transform, and stand out.

FL/Y is an essentially-styled suspension lamp. The particular transparency of the material and the sheen of the colours recreate the idea of a soap bubble, shimmering iridiscently in the light. The shade is not perfectly hemispherical, with the cut-off falling just below the level of the diameter, offering greater concentration of the light. The lamp is available in three different sizes: Fl/Y (diameter 52cm, shade depth 33cm), Small Fl/Y (diameter 38cm, shade depth 28cm) and Big Fl/Y (diameter 83cm, shade depth 55cm).
