The design engages with the alcarol’s concept of environmental cross-section. By filling the gaps with resin, alcarol achieves a new functionality with the poetic choice to freeze time at the end of the tree’s life cycle. In Creek Table the jagged edges of Cherry wood section planes look each other just like banks, separated by a sinous resin creek: a perfect recall of a Dolomites nature’s view.

To preserve this heritage, alcarol pours a clear resin over the uneven surface—like the flow of water that once swept over the cutting area—encapsulating marble residues, leveling the scars, and freezing a moment of labour and transformation. Skill Diamond is produced by a smart geometrical design, achieved through a technique typical of quilting industry. Its quilted surface shows a characteristic matt-grain surface similar to real leather, in a range of colours all on stock. Impulse is a knit fabric, made with polyester FR yarn in 30 different colors that can be coordinated with the Visual, Pixel and Bitnet collections, for a total of 120 products, all available on stock. Impulse is a slightly elastic fabric made with jacquard knitted looms having a weight of 440 g/m2. With its particular fabric construction, Impulse is suitable for upholstering with ease and excellent aesthetic results all types of upholstered furniture, including extreme-design elements. Impulse is also designed to cover panels and padded sound-absorbing furniture. The slightly 3-dimensional fabric construction, combined with soundabsorbing material, contributes to decreasing sound reverberation.
