Plissé 30 wall

Firmamento Milano > Wall lamp

Photographs of bygone eras, in which the divas of Cinecittà and Hollywood wore beautiful pleated and flowing skirts, inspired the design of the Plissé lamp, which takes its name precisely from these garments. “Plissé” is also a term that appears in the old Milanese common expression: “la fa gnanca on plissee”, which literally means “it doesn’t make a single crease” (i.e. it makes perfect sense). Designed by architect Daniela Puppa, also a successful professional in the world of fashion, this wall or ceiling lamp is available in surprising and refined pop colours.

This relax chair places all the more emphasis on seating comfort and finishing. Its classy appearance is achieved firstly by the integration of small leather loops on the front of the chair, producing a slightly padded impression. The choice between two armrests either gives the whole a cosy and emotional impact or makes it a trendy design piece. The comfort line is extra accentuated by the slightly inward sloping back and at the same time can be optimally determined by the different seat heights.

The FOLD lamp, designed by Cristian Li Voi, is available as a pendant lamp, wall lamp and floor lamp. The blown glass body of the FOLD lamp has a central fold that appears very light but contains within it a design complexity with a strong aesthetic value. In the FOLD lamp, the technical soul of the lighting body becomes an aesthetic element. The concentric metal cylinder, whose function is to dissipate the heat of the LED, integrates perfectly with the blown glass silhouette.

Comback is a chair featuring a backrest consisting of seven "teeth" which spread out towards the lumbar region where they meet a reinforced hexagonal rim with slim shafts radiating down to join the seat. A goodly size, this single mould chair embodies functionality and well-freighted ergonomics with sentiment and memories. The Comback comes in several modernised versions – the “swivel” model with four spokes and a central swivel shaft and the “sled” with two slim tubular sides.
