The Pedrera Coffee Table is reimagined with three textured glass tops that bring color and sensory depth to Spanish architect Barba Corsini's beloved first design of Pedrera in 1955. The new structured glass tops come in Transparent, Smoke, and Bronze. The inspiration for the base of the table came from the vaulted ceilings of La Pedrera, which goes again in the Pedrera lamps, thus being characteristics for both the collection.

L’imbottitura è composta da poliuretano espanso riciclato derivato dall’agglomerazione di rifiuti ingombranti (divani, materassi) e da scarti di produzione delle filiere dell’arredamento e dell’industria tessile. Il secondo materiale utilizzato per l’imbottitura è l’ovatta in fibra di poliestere termolegata costituita da almeno il 70% da fibra di poliestere ottenuta dal riciclo di contenitori post-consumo di poliestere colore bianco. Ma l’innovazione sta anche a soprattutto nel tessuto con il quale la “Reef” è rivestita. Creato interamente con plastica riciclata post-consumo, dai detriti plastici che galleggiano nei nostri mari e dalle bottiglie in plastica destinate alla discarica, questo particolare rivestimento è stato realizzato insieme a SEAQUAL, la community che combatte l’inquinamento marino ripulendolo dalla plastica. Per ogni “Reef” prodotta, infatti, vengono utilizzate oltre 100 bottiglie di plastica recuperata dal mare, contribuendo concretamente alla missione di pulizia della terra e degli oceani. Il DNA green della poltrona “Reef” continua nella struttura in legno, certificata FSC® (FSC-C002023): Il marchio identifica i prodotti contenenti legno proveniente da foreste gestite in maniera corretta e responsabile secondo rigorosi standard ambientali, sociali ed economici.
