Description

The LEUCA washbasin, designed by Diego Grandi, was born from a suggestion linked to the seascape of the Salento coast, a place where the waters of the Adriatic Sea mingle with those of the Ionian Sea: the union of the two becomes the motif of a creative moment that translates into lines, shapes and motion in the washbasin. LEUCA's profile is outlined through a basin, both single and double, in which undulating lines and sharp edges dialogue. The basin of the washbasin is characterised by a welcoming curved section that abstractly recalls the design of a wave, giving dynamism to the material smooth and uniform ceramic. LEUCA is available in three sizes and in Glossy White and COLORS 1250° finishes. The three sizes of LEUCA are combined in an abstract image that manifests the generating idea of the collection: a wide ceramic basin expressing the movement of waves. The central detail of the Leuca double washbasin makes explicit the reference to the sea: the ceramic becomes the ripple of a wave, generating a light motion in the material.
