Description

Monkey hanger is made with two piece; the monkey made of architectural concrete in two finishes: dark grey or light grey. And the second element is the bar, made up of a solid ash cylinder with four bananas on the top, also made of solid ash, both wood finishes are open-pore lacquered light gray (RAL 7040) or dark grey(RAL 7012). Apt only for indoor use. Regulatory glides are included.Composition: the concrete used to make the tables is made up of a mix of natural raw materials and specific additives. The raw materials are taken from sites with calcareous rock deposits (limestone and dolomite) and other metamorphic rocks (granite, basalt and quartzite).Monkey is a concrete coat hanger available in the floor or wall version.In the twinkling of an eye, the Monkey side table has become one of the funniest and most iconic pieces in BD’s catalogue. It’s a useful sculpture manufactured from architectural concrete – a material that carries the necessary weight for the base of a coat stand. Hayon designed it with his characteristic arty touch.The Monkey collection now has a new addition, providing a smiley service. The pole and banana shaped hooks, are made of wood with a stained grey or black finish to match the base.
