Hobo Contract

Designed by Aisslinger and Bunyaprasit, the Hobo Contract sofa is a family of composable seats that includes a two and three-seat sofa, a chaise longue (right or left), right and left end units, two and three-seat benches with a backrest on left or right, and a pouf in two sizes. Hobo Contract sofas have fixed upholstery, available in a selection of fabrics and leathers in the collection. Upon request, a multi-colour version is available using the same fabric.

Hot Palm Springs

Inspired by the stunning and luxuriant settings in California, the Hot Palm Springs sofa by Carlo Colombo is part of a system that can be assembled to form numerous layouts. Hot Palm Springs is both comfortable and elegant, a decor element in which purity of design is melded with precise details. The seating system is composed of two and three-seat sofas, a chaise longue, corner and end units. Hot Palm Springs is available in a refined version trimmed with gros-grain, fabric or leather: a detail that delineates the shape of the seats and emphasizes the inner edge.

The Litos sofa, by Sebastian Herkner, with low back rests and uneven rounded shapes, inspired by the rocky Salento coastline, makes nature the protagonist of interior spaces. A leisurely invitation to relax, convene and enjoy life, the Litos sofa system, by Sebastian Herkner, offers both separate and modular units, suitable for furnishing domestic settings or lounge areas in the hospitality field. With a structure made of wood conglomerate and pine plywood, these sofas are equipped with removeable covers, in a selection of fabrics and leathers from the collection. Also available without armrests or with a single armrest, Litos modules are accessorized with free cushions that can be placed at will, for customised comfort.

Oblong System

Designed for residential and contract spaces, the Oblong System sofas is a series of free-standing and composable seats by Jasper Morrison which offer the possibility to create personalized sofa formations. The Oblong System sofa collection is enhanced by numerous modules that can be used for endless compositions, where the interplay between colours becomes protagonist. Jasper Morrison’s Oblong System is padded with multi-density polyurethane foam and fibre, with removable covers in a selection of fabrics and leathers from the collection. The seat is available in several different depths and widths; the end unit can come with or without an armrest.

Classic and contemporary stylistic elements define the Orla sofas and armchairs by Jasper Morrison, a masterpiece of contemporary design that has entered the collection of the Tate Modern, in London. Characterized by soft, sinuous lines, slender shells and generous, comfortable cushions, the Orla series is a tasteful addition to both domestic and contract settings.   The collection is composed of two and three-seaters, a rounded sofa (right or left), small or larger armchairs (fixed and swivelling), poufs. As of 2019, the family also includes a small two-seat sofa.   For Orla sofas and poufs, the structure is made of rigid composite polyurethane foam, with poplar plywood inserts and elastic belts; the Orla armchairs come with a fixed or swivelling structure made of foam. All versions are padded with multi-density polyurethane foam and fibre.   For the armchair and sofas, the cover of the structure is fixed, but removable for the cushions, and is available in the fabrics and leathers of the collection; for the small sofa and small armchair, the cover is fixed for both the structure and the cushions – all of which are also available in the fabrics and leathers in the collection.

S-Chair

The iconic S-Chair by Tom Dixon is an object with an artisanal core, successfully transformed into an authentic industrial masterpiece, without losing the essence of the original product. An emblem of contemporary design, the chair can be found in the permanent collections of the world’s greatest museums, from the Triennale in Milan to the MoMa in New York. S-Chair has a dark varnished metal structure; the iconic original version is upholstered with marsh straw; alternatively, it is available in wicker or with a fixed cover chosen from a selection of leathers or fabrics from the collection. For the marsh straw version, the weaving is done entirely by hand: a meticulous procedure that requires more than 6 hours of craftsmanship.

More than twenty years since the original design debuted, Cappellini is celebrating this best seller by Jasper Morrison by offering new models which represent a complete renewal in terms of the look and finishes: among these is the Tate Wood family, a fresh and extremely versatile option. Part of a family which includes stackable chairs and stools of two different heights, with a high or low back rest, Tate Wood chair features a shell made of ash plywood with a mahogany or oak veneer (with a natural or stained white, wengé or black finish). The base of Tate Wood chair is available in different versions: four legs with a satined stainless steel finish or matte satined lacquer in the shades of white, mud, black, pumpkin, brick, grass green, petrol and Prussian blue; with a sled base, in satined stainless steel or matte varnished in white, black or mud; with five polished chrome spokes, with feet or castors.  The four-legged version in stainless steel can also be equipped with a reclinable table in thick black laminate.

Geometry was the primary source of inspiration for the versatile Fronzoni ’64 chair, designed by the master of minimalism AG Fronzoni during his quest to eliminate all excessive components from objects of design. Aston is a family of individual pieces, including a sofa, a daybed, armchairs, footstool, chairs and stool in two heights – 101 cm and 114 cm – custom-designed to furnish homes and “public spaces” with style and elegance, allowing the conversation to continue between indoors and outdoors. The Aston “Cord” Outdoor collection comes with a pewter colour polyester-painted stainless steel frame specially treated for exterior use, as are the padded cushions, which are covered in waterproof fabric. The seat back is in a special braided 7 mm diameter polypropylene cord, available in the following colour variations: Light Gray, Dark Brown, Sand, Sunflower, Khaki Green and Rust, a perfect match for the fabrics in the Art Lifescape 02 textile collection and the shade of Alison “dark brown” outdoor. The painted stainless steel frame is finished with a special polyester paint for exterior use in Pewter colour and the seat back is in a special braided polypropylene cord, available in two colour variations: light grey and dark brown. The Yoko seat evolves to become the Yoko Cord Outdoor project by Japanese-Scandinavian duo Inoda+Sveje, composed of an armchair, dining little armchair, bench footstool - with and without upholstery - and coffee table with top in Basaltina stone, all with a natural teak frame. The seat and backrest are strung with Ecru or Dark Brown polyester cord on which the soft cushions, upholstered with fabrics from the 2022 Textile Outdoor Collection, rest. The seat and the top of the bench footstool are strung with a balanced weave that gives the natural allure of handcrafted workmanship in line with the classic principles of stringing; a special teak frog feature has been applied in continuity with the finish of the frame to better secure the cushions to the seat and the backrest. A Bronze detail adorns the wooden frame of these furnishing pieces, embellishing them yet maintaining their silent elegance intact: it is a particular joint, located between the frame and the rear vertical legs whose coupling is enhanced by a varnished Bronze colour button.

The enveloping and comfortable body of the Belt seats designed for indoor use in 2021 also shapes the outdoor version. The band which, in the original design, outlines the silhouette of the volume recalling the shape of a belt, in its outdoor version becomes a corded contour in the colours Sand and Dark Brown, covering the polished Bronze steel frame. The seats rest on a matt varnished aluminium base, in the shades of Ecru and Dark Brown, reiterating the colours of the cord, and feature padded cushions with extra-durable polyurethane foam inserts, covered in water-repellent fibre and fabric. The Belt Cord Outdoor family is composed of a two-seater sofa, bergère, armchair, footstool, lounge armchair and dining little armchair, all also available with natural finish teak legs. With a more classic feel and a warmer aesthetic, this version can be easily combined with all the other furnishing pieces in the outdoor collection.

In Fynn, Scandinavian values meet Italian tradition. A contemporary design for outdoor spaces in teak wood, crafted with fine cabinet-making workmanship.  With a completely innovative approach, the fine cabinet-making process used for the manufacturing of outdoor wooden furniture is applied to a family of outdoor furnishing pieces in solid teak, combining sophisticated workmanship with an ultra-contemporary design.   Characterised by an interwoven frame that hosts soft seat and backrest cushions, Fynn has in the armrest its signature element. Elongated and slightly curved, rounded and smooth to the touch, it is completely handmade: its precise, well-defined line identifies the entire family, composed of armchair, lounge and dining little armchairs, benches, footstools, coffee tables in different sizes and a dining table. The Fynn Outdoor armchair and little armchairs feature a distinctive ultra-lightweight aesthetic with a simple structure in teak. The frame is interwoven with wicker-effect cords in Mud colour, hosting a padded seat and backrest cushion, designed as a single element. The informal rigour with which Fynn Outdoor hosts the padded element designs a comfortable seat. The bench completes the family. Its cushions sit on a frame interwoven with wicker-effect cords in Mud colour. The coffee tables also share the same line as the wooden armrest, which designs a slight curve also found in the rounded sides of the top. The central part of the coffee table is enhanced by the presence of the top in Pietra del Cardoso, creating a sophisticated combination of materials.

Sendai "Cord" Outdoor

The elegant, airy lines of the Sendai family of seats, designed by duo Inoda+Sveje, now evolve in their version for open-air spaces. Sendai Cord Outdoor is the result of an upholstered volume, reduced and stylised through the skilful use of cord in the colours Ecru, Burgundy or Dark Brown: a transparent silhouette that allows the eye to catch a glimpse of the object and that, thanks to its light aesthetic, creates a harmonious contrast when combined with bulkier seating systems. The 360° swivel base with return, a mechanism thoroughly tested for outdoor use, reflects the same stylistic principle as the indoor version, but in a natural teak finish.

D.150.5 - Outdoor Collection

In collaboration with the Gio Ponti Archives and the heirs of the renowned Milanese architect Molteni&C is reconstructing one of the rare pieces of furniture Gio Ponti designed for outdoor use the D.150.5 chaise longue projects for the cruise ship Andrea Doria in 1952.
