Geometry was the primary source of inspiration for the versatile Fronzoni ’64 chair, designed by the master of minimalism AG Fronzoni during his quest to eliminate all excessive components from objects of design. This seat is a conceptual furnishing element, composed of a series of squares and straight lines that cut cleanly through space, as if they were drawn with a ruler. The essential lines are precisely what make this chair so well-suited and adaptable to every setting. The Fronzoni ’64 chair has a base of square tubular metal, with a seat made of white or black matte-lacquered wood.

Funiculí

For Lluís Porqueras, designing consisted of eliminating the superfluous until an essential object was left: beautiful, useful and simple. This was the case with the Funiculí, a 1979 lamp that Marset reissued in 2013 and which has become an emblem of the collection.Lightweight, it takes up almost no space and can function as an ambient lamp or for direct light, depending on how you direct the beam. Its designer released the shade to give maximum mobility. It can rotate through 360 degrees to focus the light where you want and also has a double clamp system for height adjustment. For the Funiculí, forty years are nothing; it has stood the test of time and now comes in new colours that further expand its possibilities. It is no longer only available in the neutrals moss grey, black and off-white. The new colours – green, terracotta and mustard – are intense. They are design statements, highlighting the shapes of the Funiculí and bringing chromaticism to the space. The new shades are cheerful and vivid, conveying that colour can also be essential.

The Braid “Rug” features a plaited structure made of permeable, breathable acrylic yarn, making this rug ideal even in humid environments. The typical spiral weave style recalls that of the Jersey fabric and its structure ensures excellent performances in terms of stability and durability. The rounded, irregular shape of the Stony coffee table, inspired by pebbles smoothed by the water of rivers, figures as a natural element in the outdoor spaces designed by Minotti. With its particular fabric construction, Stretchy is suitable for upholstering with ease and excellent aesthetic results on all types of upholstered furniture, including extreme-design elements. Being very breathable, it is the ideal fabric to cover acoustic panels and padded products that contain sound-absorbing materials. Stretchy can be digital transfer printed both on the white and on dyed surface in order to personalize our customers’ products to the maximum.

Rebel collection, the made in Italy fire resistant coated fabric with a sophisticated look, created to dress upholstered furniture with charme. Expanded microspheres are used to give Rebel a special finishing and obtain a highly velvety and refined appearance. As a result of wear, continued friction or rubbing on the surface of the fabric, it becomes even more appealing as microspheres expand and get slightly deformed to create a vintage effect. The Rebel colours have different shades of natural tones, with a slight ‘cloud’ effect. Soft, enveloping and fire resistant, this coated fabric adapts to contract or residential spaces.
