IRIS APFEL, 2014, (ART18)Digital print on cotton / polyesterUnique artwork on each side20 x 20 ins / 50.8 x 50.8 cmHENZEL STUDIO developed a collection of art pillows designed in collaboration with leading contemporary artists AVAF, Scott Campbell, Robert Knoke, Nan Goldin, Richard Phillips, Jack Pierson, Anselm Reyle, Juergen Teller and Tom of Finland. Each artist was invited to produce numerous designs, and to freely create and translate works into the media at hand: digital print on canvas, encompassing works across photography, mixed media montages, drawings, paintings, collages and relief sculptures.
