Simply beautiful. Sesto is a foldable floor coat stand masterfully crafted in solid wood with a minimal and ingeniously sleek and elegant design. It opens and closes with a single instinctive gesture, thanks to the smart joint designed by Luciano Bertoncini in 2010."The inspiration that led to the birth of Sesto derives from the desire to improve the long-applied solution for folding furniture. My idea was to make the intersection coplanar, allowing the various parts that make up the coat rack to become symmetrical, giving it mobility and harmony. It is an object that the artist Lucio Fontana would have included among the 'Spatial Concepts.'"The name Sesto comes from the intuition of recovering the ancient name of the compass, to which its form and movement are inspired. When open, it accommodates coats, hats, and clothes on its six hooks and can be placed in an entranceway, hallway, studio, or bedroom, anywhere. Closed, it is compact for easy shipping and storage, snugly encased in its case made of recycled polyester.Materials: Solid walnut, oak, or ash wood with a matte transparent finish, steel joints, case made of recycled polyester.Dimensions: Height 168 cm, width and depth 55 centimeters, closed dimensions are only 12 by 12 centimeters.Bertoncini isOnAir is the first furniture collection designed by Luciano Bertoncini for isOnAir, a brand product-oriented with care.
