Questa opera evoca un senso di profondità e forza radicata nella terra. La parte inferiore del vaso, con i toni caldi dell’ocra e le texture che richiamano intrecci e incisioni, sembra parlare di tradizioni antiche, di un legame con l’artigianato siciliano, dove l’elemento “terra” è centrale. Le linee scavate e ripetute creano un ritmo visivo che ricorda un intreccio naturale, come quello dei cesti o delle trame tessili artigianali. La parte superiore invece, con i colori scuri e lucidi – soprattutto il rosso e il blu – sembra quasi fondere il fuoco e l’acqua. C’è un forte contrasto tra le superfici opache e ruvide della base e la lucentezza smaltata della parte superiore. Questo dialogo tra lava, terra e acqua, tradizione e modernità, ispira l’idea di equilibrio dinamico, come se la natura e l’uomo fossero in costante dialogo creativo.
