If the Saint Paul Chapel in New York is the oldest surviving church building in Manhattan, and since 1960 a national historic monument, the voluminous dresser Saint Paul by SMP for OAK with its soft and delicate lines expresses the true essence of contemporary design. Nine drawers divided on three columns expand downward: the three drawers of the last row are the largest and most capacious. The soft colors of the simple and elegant interior of the chapel recur instead in the leather cover of the drawers of the dresser Saint Paul.

Like the imposing Trinity Church – perfectly blending with the New York skyscrapers – opens to welcome visitors at the intersection of Wall Street and Broadway, the Trinity dresser, interacting with the other pieces in the collection, houses a large part of the wardrobe thanks to its considerable capacity. In fact – as there are three entrances to the Cathedral – its three drawers are wide and deep, in particular the bottom one. The unusual simple and delicate lines for this bulky element are in line with its contemporary design.
