The Peak chair, which has been awarded the ARC 21 award, is a sustainable design chair by Joost van der Vecht. The name Peak is a reference to the mountain tops that are becoming increasingly barren be caused by climate change. The starting point was to design a durable, usable and elegant chair. The curved back and seat of the chair are made of waste paper, an essentially unusable – but clean – raw material that gets a second life and can be processed into a new chair in the future. The chair is available in a veneered, upholstered or hybrid (upholstered seat) version.

Sustainability and design go hand in hand with the special Peak collection. In 2021, the collection was awarded the furniture prize of the Netherlands: the ARC21 Award. The bar stool comes in a regular chair or barstool, both of which are available in a hybrid version, where the seat is upholstered. Frame is available as standard in signal black (RAL 9004 fine texture) or marzipan white (RAL 0909005 fine texture). The core of the chair is made of sustainably produced beech wood. The seat of the hybrid chair is filled with coconut hair and finished with a layer of lambswool with a durable top layer of 100% recycled wool or 100% recycled PET. The unique composition of materials makes this chair 'one of a kind'.

The now well-known Kami collection, designed by Joost van der Vecht for Occony, is available in a round and oval shape for both the table top and the column(s). This modern table brings together sustainability and organic shaping into a timeless design for the living and working environment. The Kami tables can be configured with ease and according to your wishes, whereby the length can be switched endlessly in different versions. From a small intimate setting to a large eye-catcher in a meeting and boardroom environment. The Kami collection is available in solid oak or -walnut or a sustainable core-board finished with oak or walnut veneer. There is a free color choice from 15 colors.

Yoku Table

Yoku is derived from the Japanese form of therapy Shinrin Yoku, which means forest bathing. The Yoku table is made of honest and recognizable materials from the forest. The design speaks for itself. As if it has always been that way (Joost van der Vecht, 2022). The table series is characterized by its slim design, comprehensible shapes and natural materials. The Yoku is a table that, with only a few connectors, stands grounded like a house. The tables can be connected so that long lengths and widths can be easily created.

The Hana table is the first product of the unique collection in collaboration with circular interior brand Aectual. The name Hana refers to the Japanese pronunciation of ‘flower’, subtly referring to its aesthetics.Through profound material research and -testing, Occony optimizes the technical capabilities of Aectuals’ 3D printed PolyAI into a robust product that serves multiple applications in the hotel- and office- interior area. Hana table's curved base, crafted from recycled drink carton foils, enables circular use through shredding and reprinting after use.Available in various colors from the Occony collection, the Hana table comes in dimensions of 105cm, 120cm, and 130cm in diameter.

Occony introduces The Living Workspace, our latest collaboration with designer Robert Bronwasser. The Living Workspace is a modern workspace concept, inspired by nature, with organic shapes and smart solutions that promote functionality, connection and well-being, even in the most business-like environments.The Living Workspace is a modular system that is customizable in size, direction, composition and color & finishes. It acts as an innovative replacement for conventional workplaces and promotes innovation, social interaction, and various forms of collaboration. As well, it offers the opportunity to create quiet, ergonomic workplaces for individual work.Our workplaces are acoustically optimized, electrically height-adjustable, and comply with the NPR 1813 and NEN 527 guidelines for sit-stand workplaces.

The square series has a desktop made from residual wood from the wood processing industry. The worktops are finished with a high-quality, wear-resistant layer of melamine or HPL (both PEFC approved) or a thin layer of wood veneer from the border region (FSC).

Panels that frame the back part characterize the sofas from Soulcollection. The precious leather inserts enrich the edges of the armrests, they “creep” between the folds of the internal corners of the backrest, as it to highlight its depth. It can be produced in the two or three seater version; it is available in different finishes as per our samples book.

The sofa from Melting Light collection is available in the 2 or 3-seater version. It consists of extremely contemporary lines with a cosmopolitan taste, the external structure is covered in leather and the comfortable seat and back cushions are covered in leather or fabric. The armrests protrude outwards to ensure greater comfort. Details in brushed gold metal. The Melting Light sofa is available in different finishes as per sample book.

Pop

Pop is a polyester fabric entirely manufactured and tested in Italy that has been studied for the upholstered furniture sector. Made applying special technical finishings that reduce height and increase thickness of the geometrical shapes on the surface. This fabric is highly resistant and both its warp and texture are 100% fireproof. Since it has successfully passed the most exacting reaction to fire tests, it can be used in the professional and hospitality/contract settings. Pop belongs to the Demitec line which introduces a new concept of fabric, born from the strong experience of Flukso and aimed to revolution the world of upholstery. Demitec mixes togheter the elegance, the embracing materials and the prestige of traditional home fabric with the resistance and the high technical performances typical of contract textile.
