The Peak chair, which has been awarded the ARC 21 award, is a sustainable design chair by Joost van der Vecht. The name Peak is a reference to the mountain tops that are becoming increasingly barren be caused by climate change.

Yoku Table

Yoku is derived from the Japanese form of therapy Shinrin Yoku, which means forest bathing. The Yoku table is made of honest and recognizable materials from the forest. The design speaks for itself. As if it has always been that way (Joost van der Vecht, 2022).

Hana Table

Occony > Table

The Hana table is the first product of the unique collection in collaboration with circular interior brand Aectual. The name Hana refers to the Japanese pronunciation of ‘flower’, subtly referring to its aesthetics. Through profound material research and -testing, Occony optimizes the technical capabilities of Aectuals’ 3D printed PolyAI into a robust product that serves multiple applications in the hotel- and office- interior area. Hana table's curved base, crafted from recycled drink carton foils, enables circular use through shredding and reprinting after use. Available in various colors from the Occony collection, the Hana table comes in dimensions of 105cm, 120cm, and 130cm in diameter.

The Living Workspace

Occony introduces The Living Workspace, our latest collaboration with designer Robert Bronwasser. The Living Workspace is a modern workspace concept, inspired by nature, with organic shapes and smart solutions that promote functionality, connection and well-being, even in the most business-like environments. The Living Workspace is a modular system that is customizable in size, direction, composition and color & finishes. It acts as an innovative replacement for conventional workplaces and promotes innovation, social interaction, and various forms of collaboration. As well, it offers the opportunity to create quiet, ergonomic workplaces for individual work. Our workplaces are acoustically optimized, electrically height-adjustable, and comply with the NPR 1813 and NEN 527 guidelines for sit-stand workplaces.

Yoku Bench

Yoku is afgeleid van de Japanse therapievorm Shinrin Yoku, dat baden in het bos betekent. De Yoku Bench is opgebouwd uit eerlijke en herkenbare materialen uit het bos. De bank nodigt uit tot kort wachten, ontmoeten of pauzeren, zonder de openheid van de ruimte te doorbreken.

With its curved backrest that folds elegantly around its back legs and ties the design together, the Cover Counter Stool challenges the possibilities of veneer through a forward-thinking approach, echoing the ideas of Scandinavian design. The design is lightweight and features a tall, enveloping back for extensive comfort that allows one to be seated in its seat for hours on end, be it for a dinner, a drink or even working at a counter desk. The Cover Series without upholstery is EU Ecolabel Certified. By carrying the EU Ecolabel Certification, the product is guaranteed to have a reduced environmental impact throughout the total lifecycle of the product from raw material to disposal.

A stool made from recycled material for maximum sustainability. A.I. STOOL LIGHT is sustainable in materials and production process and is the result of thorough optimisation: three models can be made from the same mould, meaning that even industrial manufacturing can adopt a green approach. The added value of A.I. lies in the fact that it is the first product family conceived by Artificial Intelligence in response to input received from the designer (Philippe Starck) and the know-how of the company (Kartell). Specifically, creative thinking, company know-how and artificial intelligence have merged to develop a chair model based on an algorithm that respects the original brief of the designer and the company a comfortable product with the structural strength and solidity required while upholding one of Kartell’s main values: to be an injection-moulded industrial product of outstanding aesthetic quality.
