Designed in 1956-1957 the bookcase is part of the furniture of Gio Pontis private house in Via Dezza in Milan. This re-edition is produced based on the original drawings from the Gio Ponti Archives. It is part of the Molteni&C Gio Ponti Collection. Made from shaped multi-layered material with elm veneer partly with natural transparent finish partly hand-painted in white. Available in the versions with or without applied mirror.

Handmade in India by skilled artisans, each bowl has unique qualities with every hammer and indentation from stretching and warping the metal being preserved, reflecting the amount of work that’s gone into the design. More Information Whilst pitting and welds will be controlled with set tolerances, they will never be completely invisible. Sharing the same angled legs as the rest of the series the tabletop of the Moulded Plywood Desk CPH190 features a split at the back of the table creating a useful upright backrest for supporting notes and open books while the remainder serves as workspace.
