Lilla Åland is a true classic in the Stolab range and a favourite that has represented excellent Swedish 20th century design on many occasions. Carl Malmsten was inspired by a visit to the Finnström Church on Åland in 1938, which contained a number of stick-back chairs lined up. He drew them and after a few of his own adjustments and additions, typical of his own style, serial production at Stolab began. Today, the classic Windsor style chair is represented at the Röhsska Design Museum in Gothenburg. Lilla Åland stick blends beautifully into many different types of interior design styles and is very comfortable with its softly holed seat

In 1942, Carl Malmsten designed the elegant armchair Widemar on behalf of the lawyer and politician Ingrid Gärde Widemar, who in 1968 became a justice and thus the first female judge in the Swedish Supreme Court. The armchair was manufactured in a few copies, but never went into serial production. Since 2018, Widemar has been manufactured by Stolab. It is a piece of finely honed cultural heritage for our time. Widemar is made from solid birch that is surface treated with white oil. The seat cushion is available in tanned leather from Tärnsjö in the colours Nature, Cognac or Dark Brown.

When Stolab celebrated its 100th anniversary, it felt like a good opportunity to highlight the beautiful Windsor chair once again as a tribute to one of the great designers in Swedish furniture design, Yngve Ekström. Pinnockio is made of solid birch and has stable legs that are screwed into the seat. The neat impression is enhanced by the seven back pins that taper together in the solid top piece. It is a chair that, due to its design language, fits many types of tables.

Palle is a stool designed by Yngve Ekström for Stolab during the 1950s. It was a time characterised by stylish shapes and functionality. The stool is made of solid birch and has four wooden legs that are screwed directly into the seat, which makes it stable and useful no matter where it is placed. Due to its soft shapes and generous seat, Palle works great as an extra seat at the table, as a bedside table or for standing on when you need to reach a high shelf.

Bolt is designed by the Swedish architect Per Bornstein. Bolt is a part of our stool range and is probably the archetype of a stool. A stool that can fit in the smallest of places but still retain its beautiful attributes. Bolt has a beautifully crafted seat in solid birch and is stackable.

Lilla Snåland stool is designed by Marie-Louise Hellgren. The stool was the answer to Stolab's efforts to take responsibility for the environment in a distinctive way. Lilla Snåland is produced out of waste material from excellent heartwood from the manufacturing of Lilla Åland's seat. The result of the collaboration between Stolab and the designer was a neat and functional stool, with a seat made of 14 waste pieces and three stable legs. Lilla Snåland has a permanent place in the exhibition at the National Museum in Stockholm, Sweden and is an award-winning and acclaimed stool.

Ero|S| is a swivel armchair with an organic egg shape, a refined combination of finishes and an adept use of colour. Ero|S| is ideal for the home, in dining or living rooms, but it also fits nicely into offices as a representative chair in the meeting room or in waiting areas. Two versions are available: the chair can rest on a glossy aluminium rotating base with central support or on a lightweight four-legged chrome structure.

Comback is a chair featuring a backrest consisting of seven "teeth" which spread out towards the lumbar region where they meet a reinforced hexagonal rim with slim shafts radiating down to join the seat. A goodly size, this single mould chair embodies functionality and well-freighted ergonomics with sentiment and memories. The Comback comes in several modernised versions – the “swivel” model with four spokes and a central swivel shaft and the “sled” with two slim tubular sides.
