MAPEFLOOR DECOR 700 is a two-component, epoxy water-based paste to create highly attractive resin systems having spatula effect or mottled finish 1.5 to 3 mm thick.WHERE TO USEMapefloor Decor 700 has been specially formulated to create a decorative resin system having a spatula effect or mottledfinish.Mapefloor Decor 700 is used for decorative floors and walls subject to medium traffic loads in environments requiring apersonalised finish to be done in a very short time, such as shops, showrooms, apartments, commercial areas and officesetc.This product is both versatile and easy to apply, allowing to create surfaces conceived to have an irregular and at the sametime highly attractive finish.Some application examplesDecorative floors and walls in showrooms, shops and offices.Decorative floors subject to medium traffic loads, such as in museums, cinemas, exhibition spaces and shopping centres.Decorative floors and walls in apartments, hotel rooms, resorts etc.TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICSMapefloor Decor 700 is a two-component epoxy water-based paste produced according to a formula developed in theMAPEI R&D laboratories.Mapefloor Decor 700 is applied by straight trowel from 1.5 to 3 mm of thickness. Once hardened, the surfaces arecharacterized by excellent resistance to abrasion and high resistance to chemicals.Thanks to the creamy consistency of the product, highly decorative surfaces may be created such as a spatula effect ormottled finish. A multitude of different tones may also be obtained by adding to the product the specific pigment pasteMapecolor Paste, while preparing the mix.Resin systems made using Mapefloor Decor 700 must always be protected with a polyurethane top-coat from theMapefloor Finish range of product.Choose the most suitable finishing product according to the degree of glossiness/mattness desired or the wearresistance required.Please refer to MAPEI Technical Services for information.Mapefloor Decor 700 complies with the principles defined in EN 13813 “Screed material and floor screeds - Screedmaterial - Properties and requirements” which sets out the requirements for screed material to be used for indoorflooring.
