Two kanji characters, “taku” meaning “skillful” and “mi” meaning “to see”, give rise to the ancient Japanese name Takumi, meaning one who has “talent in the field of craftsmanship and technology”. And it is from this encounter between the industrial world and the creativity of craftsmanship that ‘Takumi’ was born, a collection of upholstered chairs where the circular design combined with the minimalism that hark back to bygone eras.
