By following a simple menu of options, customization is simple by choosing a style, scale, cushion type, upholstery detailing, fabric placement, and leg design. These selections offer a wide range of results – from a sleek European look to a more residential, classic appearance. The collection includes lounge chairs and sofas to modular configurations and is available in three scales, Standard, Grande, and Compact. Select from five unique stitching details using radius or square corner cushions. Legs are available in a variety of wood or metal shapes and finishes.

Luca

Luca benches and ottomans are part of the versatile Luca seating series, ranging from a sleek modular sofa system to meticulously crafted tables. Luca’s effortless simplicity delivers universal appeal. Luca benches/ottomans may be freestanding or used interchangeably with other products from the modular seating system.   Luca offers round and rectangular benches and ottomans in various sizes.   Select benches feature end tables available in oak or walnut and are offered with and without power.  Luca’s legs are available in three finishes: polished aluminum, matte black, and satin white powder coat. All pieces include non-marring adjustable nylon glides.

CP.2

The CP.2 ottoman and bench blend a sleek stainless-steel frame and a contemporary seat to create a timeless, functional piece of art.  The CP.2 collection features an ottoman and a bench that seats two people.  The ottoman and bench are detailed with topstitching that traces the perimeter and middle seam on the bench.  CP.2’s frame is available in polished or brushed stainless steel or matte black.

The CP.1 ottoman and bench blend a sleek stainless-steel frame with a classic hand-quilted seat to create a timeless, functional piece of art. The luxurious seat is detailed with a loop-stitched cording that traces the seat’s perimeter.  The CP.1 collection features an ottoman and a bench that seats two people.   CP.1’s frame is available in polished or brushed stainless steel and matte black. The design allows users to specify matching or contrasting loop stitch colors for a unique look.

Balance

Balance is a collection of fully upholstered benches and ottomans that combine geometric forms with a streamlined, polished steel base. The Balance collection includes an upholstered mobile ottoman and benches with polished metal bases. The Balance mobile ottoman rests on six casters and may be customized using contrasting fabrics for the seat and sides.  Perfectly proportionate, the Balance bench features an ample seat supported by a thin base.

Gallery

Preserving clean and simple lines, the Gallery collection is a multipurpose collection of ottomans and benches. Gallery’s striking features include its three distinct sections: a lower band, a defining welt cord, and the upper body. Bold color and patterns give Gallery a carefree vibe while muted and tonal contrasts create an elegant result. Gallery is available in round or capsule shapes in single, two, and three-seat options.  Gallery products are stationary with nylon non-marring glides or mobile with concealed casters.

Colours

Inspired by stepping-stones in streams, the Colours flexible seating system is comprised of gently rolling shapes, creating a place where people can gather, reflect, or simply relax. The irregularity of these shapes and the fluidity of the groupings help create an inviting visual in an architectural world that is relatively linear. Colours is comprised of fully upholstered free-form units. These units can stand alone or be combined to support various ways for people to congregate. Crisp tailoring and soft curves create visual interest while saddle stitch details inject geometric structure. Non-marring glides with vinyl sleeves prevent units from sliding on smooth surfaces. For added visual interest, contrasting fabrics can be specified on the seat and sides of each module.

Code

In any high-intensity office space where one must quickly adjust from collaborative to focused work, Code provides a retreat. Code is a seating system designed to provide privacy and create landscapes in open spaces. The linear footprint lends definition and structure, while subtle curves and rounded corners soften the collection. The grouping ranges from lounge chairs, settees, and sofas to a collection of modular elements. To accommodate each unique space, Code seating is offered in standard or conference height. Code seating can be specified to provide a welcoming respite with either angled or full privacy walls, resting on polished cast-aluminum feet.  Textiles may be selected individually for the seat and wall, resulting in an unlimited combination of visual configurations.

Zerin

Bernhardt Design > Chair

Designed for functionality in multiple environments, the Zerin mobile cart is also beautiful as a stand alone piece.  Three square shelves provide a perfect platform for serving, storage, or transporting materials. Zerin’s rounded metal frame elevates and softens its aesthetic.  Three shelves are available in maple, oak, walnut, paldao, and back-painted white glass.  The polished stainless steel or powder-coated frame rests on four locking caster wheels.

Apel

Apel is a family of benches and ottomans created to maximize spontaneous interactions. The collection can be grouped into ‘clusters’ that serve as stationary hubs or used individually as mobile ‘satellites.’ Stylistically versatile and highly customizable, Apel is adaptable to many commercial and residential environments. Apel highlights a matching saddle or loop-master stitch and is offered in two sizes. The smaller version of Apel may be converted into a mobile bench by using concealed casters.

Solem features hollow, molded U-channel legs that taper in a sleek, visually light form.  This leg channel permits the concealing of wires, creating a unique cable management system. Surface-mounted power modules address technological requirements.  Optional tray mounts under the top manage excess wires or equipment.

Anza

The strength of the design rests in the subtlety of its shape and the beauty of a singular discreet gesture where the back gracefully blends with the seat.  The collection is comprised of modular pieces that work together to create configurations as diverse as a simple loveseat or as unique as a serpentine sofa. Each piece includes leveling, non-marring glides.

Cinema

Just as a great film perfects the art of building and balancing tension to draw us in, so does Cinema. The sleek and formal exterior of Cinema turns gracefully at the corners to cradle loosely attached cushions. Cinema’s solid mass is tempered by a beveled footprint that appears to hover above the floor.  The Cinema seating collection comprises sixteen fully upholstered units that can be combined to form a myriad of arrangements, from a basic sofa to undulating forms for large open spaces. Remarkably crafted details include intricate topstitching on both the interior and exterior of each piece. Fully upholstered, Cinema is housed on leveling, non-marring glides.

Mirador is a modular seating collection comprised of interchangeable units enabling unlimited configurations. Its sloped arms and softly curved back cushions invite you to sit and enjoy.  The collection includes sofas and benches to modular configurations that include armed and armless versions. Sofa and settee modules are available with flared or non-flared seat corners and straight, open, or close-angled backs. The sofa’s cushioned seat, back, and arms are detailed with double topstitching around the perimeter. Mirador rests on a polished cast-aluminum frame with levelers and non-marring glides.

Using a basic building block as the foundation, Neighborhood is a modular, mobile, and connected design solution for the modern office. Neighborhood comprises numerous unique modules that range in scope from tall privacy units to sofa sectionals and tables with electrical access to mobile ottomans.  Technology integration and sound-absorbing materials provide a smart option for workspaces. Fully upholstered, Neighborhood seating and table modules offer a saddle stitch or a jump-master stitch detail. Tabletop options include wood, laminate, and solid surfaces.

Bardot

Bernhardt Design > Chair

Similar to the curves of the human body, the same can be said of Bardot. The absence of distinct angles and lines permits the exterior and interior to gently merge, creating a continuous form allowing the textile to conform to its shape. While Bardot appears larger in scale, it features a deceivingly compact footprint to work in smaller spaces. Fully upholstered and standard with welt, the Bardot seating collection includes a lounge chair, loveseat, and sofa.

Ravel

Stylistically bridging the gap between home, hospitality, and corporate spaces, Ravel combines traditional wood craftsmanship with precise upholstery detailing.   A carved solid wood frame is used to suspend the seat and back cushions. Two center legs on the sofa create visual interest and provide additional support. Ravel is available in solid walnut or solid ash.  When finished in natural ash, the sofa has a very contemporary and casual appearance.  The walnut version is both elegant and timeless. An organic stitching pattern accentuates the softness and shape of each cushion. The plush seat and back cushions made of multi-density foam provide maximum comfort.

Valentina

The Valentina modular sofa system is comprised of six simple pieces that may be arranged and re-arranged in limitless configurations to accommodate the spatial requirements of a room.  The collection includes modules with arms, an armless element, a 90-degree square corner, a 45-degree curve, and an ottoman. Each piece has three distinct elements: the seat and back, the side panels, and a generous welt cord that traces the perimeter.  By mixing color and texture between the three elements, the designer can easily personalize each sofa within a space. Ideal seating comfort is achieved by combining layers of multi-density foam with an integrated system of coil springs.   The seating modules are fully upholstered with leveling, non-marring glides, and all necessary connecting brackets are pre-installed.

Pasadena end tables are inset into the work surface, supporting the technological needs of today’s spaces. Table finishes include oak and walnut in natural and select finishes, and black or white phenolic. The swooping shawl or collar back establishes visual interest from behind, serving both open areas and more private settings.  Additional comfort is achieved through layering foam of varying density, and the tall back allows you to rest your head with ease.  Belmont’s cross stretcher base balances the generous back and anchors the chair. Belmont is available in two versions: one with a modern stainless-steel metal base and the second with a classic carved ash wood base.

Ero|S| is ideal for the home, in dining or living rooms, but it also fits nicely into offices as a representative chair in the meeting room or in waiting areas. Two versions are available: the chair can rest on a glossy aluminium rotating base with central support or on a lightweight four-legged chrome structure.

Comback is a chair featuring a backrest consisting of seven "teeth" which spread out towards the lumbar region where they meet a reinforced hexagonal rim with slim shafts radiating down to join the seat. A goodly size, this single mould chair embodies functionality and well-freighted ergonomics with sentiment and memories. The Comback comes in several modernised versions – the “swivel” model with four spokes and a central swivel shaft and the “sled” with two slim tubular sides.
