Paralela, a modular system designed by the Spanish Nahtrang Studio, stemmed from a quest to lend shape to light so that the light itself becomes a tangible decorative luminous element. Hence the idea of creating light-filled borosilicate glass cylinders – joined to one another by Nylon PA12 connectors – that use gravity to occupy space in an orderly manner, entering into a visual dialog that becomes a symphony of light. This is a complete and new product family, available in both horizontal and vertical pendant version, table lamp, floor lamp and sconce, in different sizes and five colors.

Bul-Bo

The Bul-Bo lamp belongs to the series of furnishings designed for the Olivetti Residential Center in Ivrea (Turin) by the architectural firm Gabetti & Isola (Roberto Gabetti, Aimaro Isola, Guido Drocco, Luciano Re) between 1968 and 1971. The context in which the designers worked was still strongly influenced by the enlightened mind of Adriano Olivetti, who died a few years earlier.

Among the foundations of this path, the direct stories of the architects Aimaro Isola and Guido Drocco (co-authors of Bul-Bo in 1971), the notes and original drawings of the studio, the memories of Lodovico Gabetti (son and pupil of Roberto Gabetti ) and Fabrizio Pellegrino (student of the Gabetti and Isola studio).

The Sunday lamp draws inspiration from the feeling of well-being generated by a calm and satisfying light, the one by which we would like to be surrounded from during a day of rest, as in the classic ideal of a Sunday morning.

Salina is a lamp that flies: light and essential, linear and soft, it is a large geometry that remains in mid-air, lights up and gathers under its flaps. It is created from a square of fabric folded in the corners by 4 pinces which give it the concave shape. The fabric is one moment tense, one moment free in a balance of straight lines and curves that make it move, a play of shadows and light that paint it like a watercolor.

Thanks to its important, but at the same time light, volume, U-light can fill the space in a dynamic way, but without burdening it.  Minimal design, lighting intensity and visual comfort make U-light a lamp that can ornament different architectural styles, from domestic to contract. Through the installation of an acoustic panel, U-light acoustic has also an Equivalent Sound Absorbing Area up to 3.11, that allows it  to reduce the noise as far as 49%. U-light was awarded the “NYCxDESIGN Award 2016”, in the category Lighting, by Interior Design magazine and ICFF.

The front ones are bent to form the armrests and continue into the curve of the backrest. The back legs reach the backrest from behind underpinning it. The seat is inserted between the lines and links them. Tobia Scarpa has re-designed the armrest joint to make the chair comfier and more linear. <p>The inspiration for Florim's Plimatech Architectural design comes from high up in the Martell Valley of the Alto Adige region.</p> <p>The aesthetic heterogeneity characteristic of natural stone is captured in the collection through three graphic variants. 01, the most minimalist is softly veined and, especially in the large format, is particularly appropriate to confer character on architecture of more essential taste. 02 has a more variegated appearance, with slight shading tending towards white, designed to add a rough, textural touch to spaces. Finally, 03 is characterized by a high number of crystalline formations that give it a wavier line, ideal for design contexts that, between interior and exterior spaces, pursue a dialogue with the surrounding natural environment.</p> <p> </p> <p>In addition to this, the range of decorations is completed with the 30x60 wall module and 30x60 3D wall module, both proposed for the graphic variant 02 in all colors.</p>

Giving a contemporary twist to this movement, the Castro design team introduced a way of rethinking the concept by allowing new materials to enrich this collection. It features functional shapes, balanced asymmetry, and bold materials such as brass and glass. For each comportment of this modern console, you can find a double shelf, separated by a glass feature. Alongside a twist of contemporary lacquered wood, this current furniture collection involves an oasis of materials to make an impact.
