The Lido family, by the GamFratesi studio, is a design that perfectly expresses Minotti’s will to create a single design for different indoor and outdoor environments: the technology and material that go into the pieces define their intended use. The Lido Cord Outdoor family is composes of a semi-curved lounge sofa, a linear two-seater sofa, an armchair, a dining little armchair and a lounge little armchair, with an enveloping design reminiscent of a comfy nest, also complemented by a bench and an ottoman. The frame of the backrest is in Bronze-coloured painted stainless steel, and it is covered with polypropylene cords in tones that can span from the more traditional shades of Sand, Dark Brown and Black, to brighter shades such as Citron, Dark Blue and Teal. All colours - with the exception of Black, which gives the piece character and a strong identity- related to images of faraway landscapes that bring freshness to this family of outdoor furnishing pieces with a look inspired by the 1950s. The semi-curved lounge sofa, in particular, is characterised by a Bronze varnished aluminium base with polished anti-touch finish, the ultimate distinguishing mark of its bold sculptural look: on one hand it offers a formal seat, on the other its depth is extended, becoming a bergère, with backrest in the shape of a soft nest.
