Two-or three-seater linear upholstered sofa and compositions with footrest at the right and left ends, and supple, fluent shapes. The large, enveloping back has an arched, convex profile and the back-support cushion rests against it; the seat, which is gently curved, expands onto ample cushions. A single end, either left or right, completes the sofa: the lengthened seat is contained by a deep, hollowed back, almost like a deckchair. The paw-like legs lift it up off the ground and make the whole of the fitted units light: the seat, the back and the arms. the supporting structure is in steel, the padding is polyurethane and the covers are made of fabrics, leather and microfibre from our collection.

Minotti > Chair
Yoko, a light and elegant seating design; a Japanese name and Scandinavian lines that come together in a piece of furniture with an aesthetic matrix, flavoured by both cultures. A contrast in constant equilibrium thanks to the skilful craftsmanship of the Japanese-Danish couple Inoda+Sveje. The continuous cross-reference between the two cultures, their styles and manufacturing skills shapes a project composed of an armchair, a dining little armchair and a bench/footstool characterised by a dual lightness: physical and aesthetic. Delicate and sinuous lines, created with precious cabinet-making interlocking techniques that enrich the structure of legs and armrests in solid ash open pore wood lacquered with a Liquorice colour, or in solid Canaletto walnut stained Light Brown, a chromatic choice that lends a more decisive tone to the elegance of the silhouette. The wooden frame has a joint where the leg meets the armrest, both at the front and at the back: a structural joint that becomes decorative thanks to the clever use of the wooden material. In this project, the great expertise in woodworking that has always been characteristic of Nordic and Japanese craftsmanship meets the historical know-how of a Made in Italy company that has been an expert in exquisite upholstered furniture for decades. Peaks is a family of pendants, composed of a string of elongated cones in different configurations. The graded shading on the curved surface of each cone is as much of a feature as the projected beams emitted from each cone. It can be displayed as a single, double or triple arrangement, pointing up or down depending on the preferred direction of light. An identical inverted cone acts as a rose attached to the ceiling. When the light is off, the forms appear very schematic, as if borrowed from a geometric still life. When on, the shading changes, as light casts along the curved surface.
