DESIGN Named after Octavia Hill, one of the founding members of the National Trust, the Octavia design draws inspiration from a detail in an 1872 pen and ink drawing of an herbaceous border by the nineteenth-century garden designer Gertrude Jekyll. This historic floral motif is reinterpreted in cast aluminium, appearing in intricate detail across the table top and in the seat and back of the accompanying chairs of the collection. The result is a cohesive design language that is decorative yet disciplined, rooted in English garden heritage. WHAT MAKES IT SPECIAL Like all our English garden furniture, Octavia dining chairs are handmade from refined recycled aluminium. Each piece is crafted over many hours from multiple sand-cast components before being assembled into a single, enduring form. System designed for architectural lighting projects requiring continuous light lines, controlled geometries and visual comfort thanks to the possibility of choosing between opal diffusion with direct light or anti-glare dark light optics. a multidisciplinary team that in a few years gave rise to a creative reality combining different skills, technical expertise and materials knowledge, attention to quality and details, ability to collaborate with designers from all backgrounds.
