Teius

Lammhults > Sofa

The idea for Teius was based on the challenge to combine function, precision and flexibility. The freestanding bench is the foundation, and more benches, backrests, armrests and connecting tables can be added on to create different lengths of extended seating solutions, optimised for specific environments. Play with different colours of seat and back, or go for a monochrome look. The frame is always powder coated, and the recycled aluminium base comes painted or polished. Versatility and adaptability combined with its many areas of use are the strengths and core of Teius modular seating.

Sunny

Created out of bent steel tubes and supporting fabric, Sunny has a light airy construction, alongside generously padded cushions that give an inviting, plush appearance and relaxing comfort. When developing Sunny the designers looked to minimise the use of resources, without sacrificing comfort . The designers comment: “The task was to make soft, lounge seating - a little lower, a little softer, a little more relaxed, a little cooler, a little dreamier and a cross-border between public and private.”

Bau

Bau is a modular seating series that ignores conventional ideas of right and wrong. It can be employed as a solitary easy chair or combined to create a playful variety of seating configurations. The collection includes a linking table, whose geometrical edginess contrasts with the sofa’s laid-back personality.

The S70 collection was launched in 1968, and it originally included 12 items, ranging from ashtrays and coat hangers to tables and chairs. The commanding design element of the series, both visual and structural, was steel tubing, which gave the series its name. The large diameter of the tubing was a radical departure. This feature plus a range of bold colors brought instant global recognition to the series and to Lammhults.

The Quickly table is a model of efficiency, with compact folding construction using a quick-lock mechanism for simplicity, safety and stability. Quickly is easy to handle, fold and unfold, for one person, using the unique patented leg locking mechanism.

Ponto

Lammhults > Table

Ponto, meaning bridge in Esperanto, is ‘exclusivity and simplicity’ defined, where every detail breathes both designers and Lammhults sense of innovation and quality. Ponto is the table that allows modern technology to meet solid craftsmanship. The legs of Ponto are made of carefully selected solid wood that is milled to fit the aluminum profiles that support the entire table. Nothing on Ponto is unnecessary, with a maximum length of 558 cm, only four legs and table surfaces are all that is needed, no more no less, together they are whole and that is remarkable in its simplicity. Assembly is quick, by sliding the leg onto the aluminum profile to the desired position.

Gunilla Allard: “The television from the 60’s inspired me when choosing the shape of the table top.” Cooper comes in a number of sizes and heights. The base is a match of the craft technology of laser-cut metal components with the artistic interpretation of Gunilla Allard’s design.

Ciao

Through its interplay of geometric shapes, the Ciao table manages to balance expressiveness with lightness and crisp elegance. “To me, Ciao is a reductive study in proportions,” says designer Gunilla Allard. Ciao’s expression is boldly cubist and monochrome. The dimensions are generous, bringing to mind one of Lammhult’s iconic furniture pieces of the late 1960s. “It’s a nod to Börge Lindau’s and Bo Lindekrantz’s S70 series,” she acknowledges.

Chicago

Taburett

Taburett is a welcome reissue of one of Lammhults’ earliest products, the 282 stool, designed by Lammhults founder Edvin Ståhl. A true industrial masterpiece, Taburett wears its modernist mantle well, closely following the Modern Movement rule that “structure and function are revealed simultaneously”.

S70-3

The commanding design element of the series, both visual and structural, was its large-diameter tubing in steel, which gave the series its name. Together with a range of bold colors, this feature brought instant global recognition of the series and to Lammhults. The S70-3 stool remains the fresh face of Lammhults design, decade after decade.

The Add stool/barstool strikes the perfect balance between aesthetics and function. The sled base tilts the stool to the rear, while it tilts the seat forward. A balance for those who stop and go. The seat’s natural incline provides an ideal position, encouraging the user to stand up from time to time. Active seating allows active and creative meetings. Adding the generous back enables shifting between active and a more relaxed sitting.

A22 is a stackable, highly versatile stool designed for impromptu meetings and quick breaks in dynamic environments — at home or at work. Its comfortable seat is angled slightly forward to encourage occupants to stand occasionally and do their bodies a favour. To facilitate recycling and reuse, the stool is made entirely of steel, without any bolts or screws. A22 can be used both indoors and outdoors.

Portus is a gracious architectural family of products with a clear visual identity. The seating series offers many possibilities – a stopping point, a meeting point, a relaxing space or a sharing space – all created by the combination of three simple elements: a soft sculptural bench, an ergonomic support cushion alternatively decoration pillows, and a shapely back.

Corso

The Corso easy chair started as a play with lines in the sketchbook of designer, Peter Andersson: “The two-dimensional lines in the sketchbook, which intuitively just felt so obvious, have been translated into a cohesive loop of steel tubing” Peter Andersson explains. The simplicity of Corso´s design is also reflected through its resource-efficient construction. The frame gives the easy chair a soft, resilient effect both through its shape and construction, whilst the design also utilizes a minimal amount of upholstery, without compromising on comfort. Natural and durable materials are used to prolong the product lifecycle and is easily taken apart for replacement or recycling.

Cinema is a model of efficiency in style and execution, with exceptional comfort and modest space requirements. Gunilla points to her inspiration for Cinema found in the seating of sports cars: crafted leather stitching and strong-support comfort in a modest space.

The Linear System Table is a simple yet refined table with subtle details and references to the Scandinavian design heritage. Its legs are cut into half-circles and joined with the table for a light expression while the slender overhang at both ends of the table makes for a refined expression. These naturally composed tables complement the collection's choice of seats and create a sustainable living area in which wood plays a central role thanks to its lightweight properties. These large items of furniture feature top-quality materials and advanced manufacturing technology. The square and rectangular versions with four legs come in five sizes (100x100, 145x80, 160x90, 190x90 and 240x100) and three top finishes: light ash with two darker shades, flamed walnut and a third, characterised by thin strips of different tones of dark wood. In Between SK4

BM1160 Hunting Table

Børge Mogensen designed the BM1160 Hunting Table for the Copenhagen Cabinetmakers’ Guild Furniture Exhibition in 1950. The table combines excellent woodwork with elegant metal brace bars, creating a bold and organic whole.

CH002 Dining Table

The CH002 is the smaller of two dining tables that Hans J. Wegner created in 1982. The table expresses Wegner’s functional design philosophy through an appealing solution for modern interiors. The CH002 is crafted to fit smaller spaces, and can be extended easily with two accompanying leaves.

At 90 x 138 cm, the CH006 is a longer version of the CH002 dining table, designed in 1982. The table, with solid extension frames and built-in grip for the two hinged extension leaves with rounded edges, illustrates Hans J. Wegner’s visionary approach to functional design. The CH006 table is versatile and can be adapted to smaller gatherings as well as larger dinner parties.
